Yojoe36 Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 I've not seen a thread about it here. I guess I'm blind if there was. So... Pikey scum, or decent people?
Fox92 Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 I don't know any of them so I cannot judge really, but I should think they are no different to anyone else really. Alot say, scum etc but, to be honest, its not them that are in the news for murdering people etc Some will probably be decent and other won't like in anything though.
davieG Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 It matters not who they are there are plenty of examples of 'ordinary' people having structures/changes to their properties pulled down/dismantled when contravening planning laws I see no reasons given why these people should be allowed to flout them.
Rincewind Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 I saw someone post on Twitter Freedom League or something. They said something like I notice all the lefdties Marxists Commies and others are there. I poste a reply I suppose the EDL will show up too to incite them. They replied 'Oh Yeah play the EDL card blaming anyone that stands up against the liberal moron. we are immune to it. I have not replied thought about saying yes you are immune because your skin is too thick to inject a dose of human compassion inside of you. But then thought they would not understand that reply. From what I heard they have been there quite a while and not caused any trouble. Travellers a different view to the norm
Phube Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Daily Mash: Irish travellers 'have ancient right to ignore planning laws'19-09-11 IRISH travelling folk will today reaffirm their ancient, mystic right not to have planning permission for their houses. As Basildon Council begins the process of enforcing the same laws which allow feminist eco-homes, the families of Dale Farm defended their traditional, ethnic practice of building a horrid little bungalow in the middle of a field. Declan O'Reilly said: "Since the time of King Arthur we have been travelling the countryside, dispensing wisdom and good luck while keeping an eye out for a sweet land deal and then doing whatever the **** we want. "People round here hate us because we're so different and magical." But local resident Martin Bishop said: "No, it's because you don't have planning permission. I wanted to build an extension but got turned down. I asked the council what would happen if I built it anyway and they said they would demolish it. I asked them if that was the law and they said I simply would not believe the extent to which that was the law." Bishop added: "I also wanted to set up a siren testing facility right next to Dale Farm, but I couldn't get planning permission." A council spokesman said: "There have been claims the travellers didn't know much about planning laws in which case they're probably a bit confused as to why there aren't houses absolutely everywhere. "But one of them has a huge, two-year old Jag so we're guessing they're not that confused." Another local resident, Jane Thompson, said: "I've got nothing against people who roam the countryside while not leaving a horrible mess and being really nice to everybody. I would gladly grant them planning permission in my heart. "But some of them have been at Dale Farm at least 10 years. Forgive me for saying so, but they don't seem to be very good at travelling."
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 22 September 2011 Posted 22 September 2011 The Travellers? Hmm. Super glue your false teeth in!
Yojoe36 Posted 21 October 2011 Author Posted 21 October 2011  Pikey scum, f**k off.The protesters are clueless c**ts. So it's okay to break the law then? F**k off. They should be deported
21st Century Fox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I have little sympathy for them to be honest, they have to abide by the law just the same as everyone else. My Nan used to like on the corner of Markfield Road and Groby Road in Ratby, during the 90's there were some Irish travellers that had land next to the field at the back of her house and were constantly trying to intimidate her when she complained about them illegally building on it and constantly stealing her land thinking she wouldn't notice because she was an old lady living by herself in a big house. Deep down I don't think that land should be something we can 'possess' but its the system we live by and everyone should abide by that within society.
The Doctor Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 They own the land the dispute is about right? If so I see no reason they shouldn't have been allowed to stay there.
Koke Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 At least these gypsies are far more civilised that the European gypsies. My girlfriend got mugged by 10 year old gypsies in Italy.
ozleicester Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I've not seen a thread about it here. I guess I'm blind if there was. So... Pikey scum, or decent people? Bit of both...kinda like Foxestalk. If you arent doing any harm, should be left alone.
MPH Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 The problem , as i see it is because its greenbelt land. so there for NO ONE is able to go past a certain limit of people on any particular plot of land... in that area and they have exceeded the limit.
Jon the Hat Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Glad to see this resolved. They had no more right to build on that site than anyone else without planning permission. They knew it was illegal and did it anyway and mow they are finally sering the consequences. Shocking that it took so long.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Isn't this all about Irish people living in a foreign country without paying tax? It's about time they caught up with Bono.
z-layrex Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Pikeys are scum. They thieve, trespass, live like pigs and don't pay tax like the rest of us. Some just invaded the car park in my parents home town centre. Dog shit everywhere, little feral kids running everywhere, can't use the car park now. And do they pay the car parking fees to be there? Do they bollocks. They also stole my parents old caravan a few years ago. I wish only the worst for them all. And the leftist do-gooder morons who defend their illegal practices.

z-layrex Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Nothing like daily mail generalisations. **** the daily mail. But what i'm saying is true. You can be as PC as you like but it doesn't change the fact that they break the law, and wherever they stay looks like shit after they leave.
fatboytim Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 If it was you or me in a brick built house living there, and we decided to build some new homes without planning permission, building commission and possibly major brown envelope payments to some bureaucrat, then they'd be torn down whether we owned the land or not. And it wouldn't take 10 years for it to happen either. There is no reason why these people should be treated any differently, in my opinion.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 **** the daily mail. But what i'm saying is true. You can be as PC as you like but it doesn't change the fact that they break the law, and wherever they stay looks like shit after they leave. Spot on. They are a massive pain, and cause nothing but problems for ordinary people living close by. We used to follow them in marked cars, and move them on into the next county, where I expect the police did the same. Once they site themselves on council or private property, illegally, it takes time to move them on, by which time, the area they occupied resembles a rubbish dump, which costs people, including the tax payer a great deal, to clean up. They used to drive untaxed vehicles, for the most part, and always got away with it, until we were given the powers to seize vehicles with no tax. We had a field day the first week or so, just waiting for them to come out of their sites and onto the highway. Their faces were a bloody picture to behold, when they lost their vehicle, but their language! Oh dear me. lol lol lol
Bellend Sebastian Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 They should have just been left alone to make their yoghurt in peace
