He's not my choice

But Chrissy P 4-0 at half time and continuing to out perform the previously heavily tipped Lee Clarke

Odd that Clark was such a strong contender but Powell is nowhere despite being better & in less time thank Clark has had

I admire Chrissy P but it would be a gamble not worth it at this current moment in time maybe in the future.

There is absolutely no chance that Chris Powell would leave Charlton at the moment. He has been there less than a year and is idolised there.

Now be thinking. If the new manager 'will be sitting in the crowd' does that mean they have changed the prize for the half time prize draw from the Thai holiday???

No, they'll play "Spot the New Manager" tomorrow instead. Winner gets to sit with the team during the following home game.

I hope I'm wrong but I think anyone who is expecting the new guy to be revealed in a wave of publicity at tomorrow's game is deluded. All these people saying ''our new manager WILL be in the crowd tomorrow" are just guessing in the hope that they're right.

Don't know who it will be, but I've just gone on Oddschecker to check the latest and the page for odds on the next Leicester manager has been taken down, first time that's happen since Sven was sacked. Checked a few bookies and no odds on any of them either. So maybe something will happened tomorrow.

I wouldn't say Boothroyd would be a bad choice for Leicester, he was sacked at Cov yes, but you've got to remember he was given a sh+t side with no money to spend. Took Watford back in 2006 with almost a youth squad & with no money to spend.

MY CHOICE:

Martin O'Neill

Aidy Boothroyd

Martin Allen

Nigel Pearson

Big decisions for people to make as #lcfc close in on Sven's replacement. Will Hull accept approach for Pearson? If not will he resign?

You taking the piss, Booyhroyd is a joke. He wanted 50 million for Marlon King. All his sides played for a 0-0. Time wasting, every one behind the ball, route one. I hate him and he is a joke.

Martin Allen? Are you on smack?

I've voted for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, purely because my number one choice isn't available for selection, here are my top 5 for the job:

1. Dan Petrescu, Kuban Krasnodar (Russia)

2. Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, Molde FK (Norway)

3. Tito Vilanova, Assistant Manager at Barcelona (Spain)

4. Aitor Karanka, Assistant Manager at Real Madrid (Spain)

5. Markus Babbel, Hertha Berlin (Germany)

Everyone's been talking about Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's miraculous work with Molde FK, but there's another ex Premiership star who's produced two miracles of his own. In the past 5 years former Romanian International Dan Petrescu has been in fabulous form, he is currently managing Kuban Krasnodar in Russia's top division, he took over the Russian outfit towards the end of 2009, after they'd just been relegated. In his first season he instantly won them promotion back to Russia's top flight, winning the Russian First Division by a 9 point margin. They are now currently sitting in 7th place in the RPL, and on course to finish in their highest position ever.

Before taking the job at Kuban Krasnodar, he managed a team in his native Romania called Unirea Urziceni, he took charge of them following their promotion to Romania's top flight, kept them up in his first season with a mid table finish, the season after they improved their league position by 5 places, got to the final of the Romanian domestic cup, enabling them to qualify for Europe for the first time ever. In his final full season he won them the league for the first time in their history, then to to top it all off got them through to the Champions League group stages.

We all want someone who can turn things around quickly, Petrescu has proved that he can do that, he's got a lot of managerial experience now, is still relatively young at 43, knows the game astonishingly well, is in form, has contacts and connections all over Europe, and if he can do what he's done with KK and what he did with UU, imagine what he could with us? In my opinion there is no better realistic target for this job at the moment than Dan Petrescu. I know he doesn't know this league very well, but he didn't know the Russian league's before he went to KK and look how well he's done there? I know he's foreign and we haven't had any luck with foreign bosses, but we can't tar them all with the same brush.

Billy Davies and Dave Jones are proven failure's, Nigel Pearson and Martin O'Neill are blasts from the past and that's where they should both be left.

So a message to the board: Get in your private jet, fly over to Krasnodar, Russia and sign the Romanian genius! Super Dan's the man.
