Hull refuse us permission to approach Pearson

I agree with Babylon on this one, Pearson did a great job for Leicester and your argument's are so biased and at time's childish they are ammusing :giggle:

Who said Nige didn't do a good job? Babs has got the arse because I won't shut up and be hugely supportive of the current owners of the club. We have rarely been in good hands in my 40 years of supporting Leicester but similarly I BELIEVE (because I am allowed to have a different opinion to him) that the current guys are rubbish. They have corruption charges being thrown at them in Thailand and since they showed up on the scene (last summer) things have been getting worse not better. They have put the owners son who is a very young man with no experience of running a football club in charge and IN MY OPINION he is ballsing it up- Pearson should have been persuaded to stay last year as he had a good thing going and the money brought into the club may have been useful to him (if he knew how to spend it) but to suggest that sacking their potentially third, questionably second and definitely first manager without having thought of a solution is not a rubbish thing to do, I DON'T AGREE - sorry if not agreeing with Babbo is childish but removing posts or locking them because you don't like what is in them is too.

This regime will end in tears according to me - if I'm wrong then I will be happy because life will be good - if I'm right then an apology and some crayons and a trip to the park will suffice.

PS so do you still agree with Babylon and on and on?

You can of course criticise the owners if you feel that way, however to say that taking two weeks to appoint a manager is somehow evidence of incompetence is absolute rubbish. You could argue sacking Sven was a bad move, but things have not been going as well as expected, and it is their call.

We could have a lot worse owners in my view. What exactly apart from the fact that Top is young is your issue with them? The things that I like are: 1) They put their brand all over the place, which means they are heavily invested reputation wise. 2) They have spent on the training ground etc. 3) They put some of their most senior execs in. 4) They kept key people on board where they could see they lacked experience (Andrew Neville). 5) They have said nothing (NOT A WORD!!) about this manager search. That is professional. 6) They are a single united owner (how many split boards and wrangles beween power brokers have we had in the past??)

All in all, I fail to see what possible basis anyone could have to criticise the owners - you can disagree with individual decision, but on the whole I think they have been pretty good so far.

What are these corruption charges being thrown at them, i googled and have seen nothing in regard's to this :dunno: and if you are spouting nothing but opinion in regard's to corruption i'd be very careful since we know these day's you can be prosecuted for slander on the internet.

How many times. If you want to moan about things that are fact then go ahead, you probably won't get challenged. But unfortunately most of your arguments against are not based in fact, they are pure guess work. As I have already stated many times, you started off by saying they sacked Pearson. When that was incorrect. You have also said Pearson left because of them, does him wanting to speak to us seem like a man who left because of these owners?

They have corruption charges being thrown at them in Thailand

Once again a complete twist on things. The things going on there were more to do with the police chief in charge and the security team running a scam on tourists.

They have put the owners son who is a very young man with no experience of running a football club in charge and IN MY OPINION he is ballsing it up- Pearson should have been persuaded to stay last year as he had a good thing going and the money brought into the club may have been useful to him

They were not in charge when Pearson was here.

but to suggest that sacking their potentially third, questionably second and definitely first manager without having thought of a solution is not a rubbish thing to do

This doesn't even make sense?

sorry if not agreeing with Babbo is childish but removing posts or locking them because you don't like what is in them is too.

I suggest you speak to the person who removed your posts then, because it had sod all to do with me.

PS so do you still agree with Babylon and on and on?

I would suggest he probably does, because at least 75% of what you say is made up.

You lot may be really cross but none of you are as cross as the lad in our office who only found out this morning that Sven has been sacked.

He's not one for being at the beating heart of current affairs, but this is surprising even by his standards

It's still sinking in for me.

I felt like I was at the Millwall match again yesterday.

You'll be called a board bum boy or tops mate now. Because apparently sticking up for people when others are making up "facts" to support their argument, means you think they can do no wrong.

I think a lot of people nowdays just assume that if they are Thai, they must be currupt

I remember seeing plenty of big wins at home under Pearson. We were hardly negative.

we also had a far inferior team under pearson - granted the current squad are not setting the league alight, but the calibre of the current players, the level they have played at etc is clearly of a higher standard.

Nolberto Solano

this is the team that started the last game of the 09/10 season, would any of us swap our current squad for that lot - if pearson could get that rabble into the playoffs, there's a good chance he can bring the best out of the current underperforming, but vastly superior squad.

Yeah **** Pearson and his shit football, we want O'Neill whose main tactic was win a corner and send the big lads up!!

I know, we didn't bother playing football.

Which is why our midfield was superb under him.

I have just read most of these, they are all of the same general subject and that is of a scam involving an interpreter and the thai police and a 'charge' they are making to avoid prosecution for alledged shoplifting at duty free shops (owned by king power) at the airport. It doesnt really indicate any corruption at King Power, at the very worst it hints that King Power may turn a blind eye as they dont ask police what happened to the alledged shoplifters or wonder why their staff are not called to testify. King Power do now have CCTV in the duty free shops and in one of these cases they did put the CCTV footage on the company's website and this does show 'suspicious' activity by the tourists.

Overall i think its a little harsh saying King Power is corrupt, well on the evidence of the links you posted anyway.

PFS fine, but why PdfS........:dunno:

I think it's Paulo De F...... Sousa.

Weren't some people calling him De Sousa by mistake?

Exactly my point of view.

The first thing you need to make at least the PO's is an organised team, not good players though that is a bonus.

Organised alone can help you succeed, NP with money to spend would be a formula for success in my opinion.

Always find myself nodding in agreement at your posts. Yet more words of sense in this one, two.
