Happy Fox Posted 1 December 2011 Posted 1 December 2011 I feel sorry for Blackburn fans the Venky's haven't got a f**king clue
MPH Posted 2 December 2011 Posted 2 December 2011 I take a look at what is going on at Blackburn and it just makes me so glad to have the owners we have. They have a vague idea what they are doing for starters...
Orkneyfox Posted 2 December 2011 Posted 2 December 2011 Get stuffed... I thought the real owners were from turkey?
Vacamion Posted 4 December 2011 Posted 4 December 2011 Got to be nonsense - the closest Glasgow has to a gangster is this chap... Glasgow and the West coast of Scotland are actually chock full of gangsters. They off each other (and maim and disable each other) with alarming regularity. There is a weekly newsletter, sold in newsagents up here "The Digger" which chronicles their exploits, as do the tabloids up here. The News of the Screws (before it was closed down) had a weekly pull out about gangland developments, called "CrimeScene". I don't think there is any truth in the original story about Steve Keane, however...
Jace Posted 4 December 2011 Posted 4 December 2011 Its amazing what some fans will make up to get rid of a manager, we should of made this story up when Levein was in charge
Leicester_Loyal Posted 5 December 2011 Posted 5 December 2011 I feel sorry for the Blackburn fans, they'll probably go down too.
Happy Fox Posted 5 December 2011 Posted 5 December 2011 The Yak will keep them up it is written in the stars.
ScouseFox Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Can only assume Fergie is involved in this Glasgow Mafia too.
Corky Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 You think they look doomed and then somehow drag four points from Anfield and Old Trafford. They score enough to give themselves a chance of survival.
Soar Fox Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 You couldn't make it up That's a couple of people I've heard calling Allardyce a "crook" there must be some substance in it.
Saxondale Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 http://www.guardian..../rss (Football) Blackburn owners Venky's hoped to use free R&B concerts to woo fans • Venky's wanted Akon as headliners at Ewood Park • Emails reveal extravagant failed pop plans Akon's big in the Ribble Valley then?
Happy Fox Posted 11 August 2012 Posted 11 August 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/19224402 Steve Kean faces sack if Blackburn Rovers lose three in a row Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has been warned he will be sacked if he loses three games in a row early on in the new Championship season. Rovers dropped from the Premier League last season but Kean kept his job. Continue reading the main story “I'm sure the manager didn't like me much, but I say it as it is.†Shebby Singh He faced criticism from some Blackburn fans, who have staged regular protests against him and the club's owners. Director of football Shebby Singh said: "If, after three games, we have dropped nine points, then we'll only have a 50% chance of getting promoted." Blackburn begin their Championship campaign away to Ipswich before home games against Hull and Leicester. Kean has signed seven players since being relegated from the top flight, including Leon Best for £3m, Danny Murphy on a free transfer and Dickson Etuhu for an undisclosed fee. Singh, a former Malaysian international player who was brought to Ewood Park by the club's owners Venky's in June, added: "I was possibly one of the worst critics [of Kean] last season. "I'm sure the manager didn't like me much, but I say it as it is. "I am working with the infrastructure that is already there and people need to prove to me that they can do their jobs." In May, Singh wrote a column for the New Paper in Singapore in which he said Kean should be sacked, but he said he will not judge the manager on what has happened in the past. Asked if he has the power to sack Kean, Singh said: "Yes. If the results are not forthcoming, I put the pressure on the manager and the players."
EcclesallOwl Posted 11 August 2012 Posted 11 August 2012 They'll be in League One a lot sooner than the prem 50% chance of not going up if they lost their first three games? What is this Singh guy on? Called Pederson a pensioner as well didn't he?
purpleronnie Posted 11 August 2012 Posted 11 August 2012 Got to love these meetings especially with foreign owners there always more interesting in the run of the mill, tow the line, boring responses you normally get.
Simmo86 Posted 11 August 2012 Posted 11 August 2012 They'll be in League One a lot sooner than the prem 50% chance of not going up if they lost their first three games? What is this Singh guy on? Called Pederson a pensioner as well didn't he? Yes. Can't see Kean and the players being impressed with his comments. Blackburn will go nowhere this season until Kean is gone!
EcclesallOwl Posted 11 August 2012 Posted 11 August 2012 Yes. Can't see Kean and the players being impressed with his comments. Blackburn will go nowhere this season until Kean is gone! Then they'll appoint another nobody, end up mid-table and self combust.
Tielemans63 Posted 12 August 2012 Posted 12 August 2012 Called Pederson a pensioner as well didn't he? Yep. Was pretty disrespectful to Pederson actually. He said a few times that 'his legs have gone', implied that it was largely down to his performances that the team were relegated and criticised him for not making the switch to central midfield! His reasoning was that when a winger loses his pace he has to reinvent himself as a CM and as Pederson has failed to do so he is a 'liability' and a 'waste of tine'. They've obviously targetted Pederson as someone they'd like to make a scapegoat for the team's relegation but something tells me it may be a bit late in the day to try to mask their own incompetence as every football fan in the country knows they're a bunch of clueless pricks.
Fox92 Posted 12 August 2012 Posted 12 August 2012 3 games, is that it? Having brought new players in etc... Personally, I think they'll do ok. I don't think they'll win the league but I reok they will be 'up there'. Owners seem strange though!?
Fox in the North Posted 12 August 2012 Posted 12 August 2012 I love the quote of "3 games lost = 50% less chance of getting promoted", makes perfect sense
Out Foxed Posted 12 August 2012 Posted 12 August 2012 plays into our hands; so bring it on. hopefully fletcher and jarvis go soon and the whole bolton squad get ebola and then we'll be in the mix!
sdb Posted 12 August 2012 Posted 12 August 2012 I can see them doing quite well this year, hope i'm wrong. Dislike Kean but he's building his own squad - and it's pretty strong.
