Fox1651 Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Only weak people feel pressure. Only crap useless lazy shit players play like Beckford
Dylan Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 He'll come here and stop scoring goals... I'm starting to think its just the fact a player plays for Leicester which makes them unable to score. We could have Messi and van Persie, and still not score.
Happy Fox Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 No point getting Sharp in if we aren't going to have wingers, the need for a defensive midfielder is absolutely necessary the amount of times that Forest cut through was too many for my liking sort it out NP please.

Im sure he is looking at other targets too buddy. Keep the faith

acooling08 Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Initial reaction is YEAAHHHHHHHH!!! Then I think he may do a Beckford. Great players seem to come to Leicester and play shit for us. Without a better midfield, I can't see Sharp scoring many.
LCFC BEAST Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 In all honesty our midfield did look a bit more creative when Wellens came on today
alanf0x Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Good news, but a long way to go in this one! It is a big move for him and he will want to speak to all clubs that have shown interest in him. Ipswich had bid accepted in the summer, but he didn't fancy it after talks.... Doncaster will now be telling all clubs that Leicester in talks to increase competition
Corky Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 I really like him to join, rated him a lot at his current and previous clubs.
Dr The Singh Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 May not happen, let's not wet our ants just yet
MGLCFC Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 But Donny telling other clubs won't generate anymore money as he has a £3million release clause so that's all they have to pay, irrespective of which club he chooses.
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 In all honesty our midfield did look a bit more creative when Wellens came on today Careful, any kind words towards Wellens (even in jest) are resented by alot of the sheep on this forum
Happy Fox Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 He didn't play in the third round so if he does join us he can play against Forest right?
Bettsj2 Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 He didn't play in the third round so if he does join us he can play against Forest right? No. Apparantly they have to be registered in time for the 1st game to be able to play in a replay.
dannythefox Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 He didn't play in the third round so if he does join us he can play against Forest right? Not sure if he had to be registered before today's game.
Saladin Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 I can imagine this thread is going to be rather long..
Libertine Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 He can't. Was the same with Dzeko and Yakubu last year.
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 In all honesty our midfield did look a bit more creative when Wellens came on today Watch out mate!! You'll be punished for that...
StanSP Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Official ruling of Sharp's (un)availability for the replay if he joins by then: All players must have been eligible to play in the original tie in order to play in a replayed or postponed match; however a player who has been suspended according to the disciplinary procedures under the Rules of The Association may play in a postponed or replayed match after the term of his suspension has expired. Basically, he cannot play vs Forest. He'll be fine for 4th round if we get through because he hasn't played for Doncaster today.
Libertine Dream Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Yea they have to be registered for the first tie. Yakubu and Dzeko weren't allowed to play in the replay last year as they weren't registered.
Unabomber Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 would be very pleased with this, if you had told me 2 years ago (when it was Howard and Fryatt or nothing!) that we would have a front 3 of Beckford, Nugent and Sharp I would have just been like:
Kitchandro Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Potential of: Schmeichel Konchesky Mills Bamba Peltier Abe Stewart Danns Kebe Nugent Sharp Ooh, hang on. Just dropped my yoghurt. Not convinced about Danns and Abe in the centre, I'd be looking to replace both.
LCFC FOX Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Now_Football Transfer News Billy Sharp will complete his move to #Leicester on Monday. #LCFC #DRFC Don't know how reliable he is
