Happy Fox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 I would love to go to this, but f**k it I am going to save money for our league fixture against the Sheepshaggers away.
tylesta Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 ..yeah tell me about it. It is Half - term that week - I live in Hertfordshire - I had a mini break booked in Leicester so my eight year old son and me could watch the Birmingham match. I have booked a Hotel and bought the tickets and now it is all out the window. I am seriously cheesed off. Not being funny mate but you could of checked fa cup round dates etc, to be on the safeside.
gerrytaggart Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 We will beat them, they are nothing to fear. They are raising their game every week in the prem and we will bring them back down to earth.
Guest Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Exactly the type of team we should be looking to beat. We play well against "better" teams and let's face it, last season they were'nt much better than us.
reynard Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Terrible draw.We have very little chance of beating them. Every time I've been there we have lost badly. For those slagging of their fans I'm pretty sure many away fans would think we were pretty boring in a soulless stadium. Their ground is a good old fashioned ground and their support isn't at all shoddy. Also I'm pretty sure Norwich has the highest number of pubs per head of population in the country. Exactly the type of team we should be looking to beat. We play well against "better" teams and let's face it, last season they were'nt much better than us. Last season they pretty much played us off the pitch and won very easily from what I remember.
jprs1976 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 could be a gd game as peltier and vaughan have history, and St Ledger and Pilkington, could be a fiery affair just how a game shud be
Matt Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Exactly the type of team we should be looking to beat. Yeah only 17 points, which is 5 wins and 2 draws, and 8 places ahead of us, oh yeah and beat us twice, so not alot better than us.... I wish people would take the tinted glasses off and realise where we are, We are not in the mid to late 90's anymore.
Fox92 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Every time I've been there we have lost badly. Please, don't go!
bluearmy7 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Happy, sad, ecstatic, underwhelmed? Discuss. Please make reference of your intention to attend the tie and your likely attire within the narrative of your post. i have no idea what you just said
Ziggy1990 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 working in Norwich so can't really say no...... Draw could have been a lot kinder though. Saying that MK Dons mauled them in the League Cup, and if memory serves Norwich played a fairly strong team Who knows eyy...
Shrenchel Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Reading this thread, you'd think Norwich was in fvcking Mordor. Takes less than 3 hours on the train from Leicester, there are 5 or 6 teams left in the draw which are further away than that. People whinge about our draws every single time and wank themselves silly over how 'lucky' teams like Leeds are for always drawing big teams. Where are the **** they now eh? Dumped out 2 rounds ago and paid £50 a ticket on a Monday night for the privilege. I'd rather have some chance against Norwich than very little against Arsenal, Chelsea etc.
MANFACE Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 This game should show just how good we are. Close, or far from Premiership standard? Totally agree. I feel confident we could win this. Norwich are still a champioship team who had a lot of luck and bore others to death.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 It's neither one of two things, either an easily winable game or a glamour draw. That said, it IS winable, though it will be teams like Norwich that feel they have a realistic chance of going all the way this year.
MANFACE Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Even their forums are so boring ZZZZzzzzz______________ <- Flat lined...
Bert Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Train tickets can be secured (with rail card) and going at the right time for under £15. I fancy a bit of time getting beat at Crazy golf in nearby Yarmouth beforehand.
Dan Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Exactly the type of team we should be looking to beat. We play well against "better" teams and let's face it, last season they were'nt much better than us. "Weren't much better than us". They absolutely belted us at our ground, they got promoted, we scraped the top half. Oh and the draw? Complete and utter one of the worst draws we could've got. We never ever win at Carrow Road, journey doesn't bother me but it's the cost of everything as well considering we have Watford and Derby close either side of it. There's no way I'm doing all three. Well, what else did I expect.

filbertway Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Nice draw, playing a good premier league team away from home and going their as underdogs. Should hopefully mean our fans and players put in a good performance, with the chance of progression to the quarter finals!

Guest Col city fan Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 How many of you miserable bar stewards have actually been to Carrow Road.?It's a great old ground, we will fill our end, the ground will be full and the away fans have a decent view of most parts of the pitch. We'll make an awful lot of noise and the ground holds it in... And Norwich has got tons of pubs... The best being by the riverside on the walk down to the ground from the centre. Fookin cheer up... Not a bad draw at all... And winnable!!
