Tunchev and Peltier as well.

If he is fit great but I suspect he isn't atm, or he cannot cope with the rigors of playing games consecutively. Peltier I prefer plays at RB.

Is there anyone NP hasn't had a fall out with yet? Really is a waste to let him go but I'm not complaining. We have 3 Cb's who are twice as good as him and he wasn't a good captain. When he learns how to pass he could be half decent.

He's fallen out with two players so far, one of which has sorted himself out and is now first-choice.

You will get disagreements in squads.

But we're talking about 4th and 5th choice.

I've gone to 13 away games this season. I might have overexaggerated but just still annoyed with the situation as he still has much more to give.

This hasn't helped though...

-Giving him the captaincy for **** all.

-His attitudes stinks apparently. He needs to buckle up and give 100%

-Get behind the team. I know we have in the last few games but all the booing at the start of the season didn't really help.

-All these people who say 'Mills is shit' are idiots. He isn't shit, he wants to be here but obviously Nigel wants him out.

Hopefully it turns out like the St Ledger situation, but in my opinion I think its a bit more severe than that.

Thirteen away games is a fantastic effort and as you already know ensures priority one status for you next season.

Keep The Faith and see what happens and put your trust in the manager, I accept he is never going to be everyones first choice of manager but he is the hand we have been dealt and he appears to be dealing with players in a more constructive way than Sven did as all we heard about during his tenure was player unrest and player power.

Apart from that you know what's going to happen - you boycott the games against Bristol City & Reading and you miss out on another couple of solid performances and seeing us get more points on the board, you have obviously seen your fair share of poor performances away from home this season - stay on board and enjoy the ride !!!

I never said Campbell was our captain, I was saying how Mills could have the same effect as Campbell did at Blackpool.

And I've gone to 13 away this season and I'll be going to many more. Just very frustrated about this whole situation.

I think loaning him isn't that good, I mean after a row with Pearson he still is gonna get 1st team football and high wages, so I bet he's not that bothered. He should of had to work like St. Ledger did but it looks like he doesn't want to.

When the same happened with St. Ledger he knuckled down and is now my first choice CB along with Morgan, I would of liked Mills to do that but he probably has the attitude that he is the captain and should/will always get picked no matter what, and now when he has been dropped he doesn't like it

This is great, Pearsons dismantling the squad whilst sticking to his shower of shite from before.

Bring back kermorgant!!!!

I don't remember St Ledger, Morgan and Bamba being here when Pearson was first at the club.

Wrong again what a shock.

Pearson and his regulars took us to the bottom half of the table.

If people think dyer, gallagher, Wellens & howard are good enough to get us promoted then your in for a massive disappointment.

Since when has the team been made up of just these four players? Because these four are involved in a squad that can get us to the playoffs. Fair enough this season they've fell short of a good performance on many occasions but so has every other player in this squad, including Sven's new boys. Gallagher's scored just less than ten goals for a player that's been out on the wing, Wellens has assisted a fair few goals and despite the criticism he has taken put in performances to help us keep all three points, and if it wasn't for Dyer's superb efforts on Thursday we may well not have won against Derby. These four won't get us promoted on their own, but within the squad that we have, then a collective effort can sure as hell give us a good chance of getting to the playoffs.

I know what you are saying  , but if either one of St Ledger or Morgan gets injured we will become unstuck again, so getting another CB on loan would be beneficial if we lets Mills out on loan.

I'm with Pearson on this one. Mills has been weak all season. He dives in to many challenges when he should be jockying the forward. He seems to think hes Ronald Koeman playing 50 yard balls over the top which rarely work. His leadership skills have been piss poor and seems to think hes better than what he is. It seems to me Mills can't take criticism and looks like hes been bigged up all his life and now things arent going for him he can't take it. Remember how he reacted when Sven dropped him after the first home match

For me Wes Morgan has been better in the few games hes played than Mills all season. Morgan is proper no nonsense defender and what a centre back should be. Im a fan already. Big up Wes bye bye Mills.

Agreed, said this after the game last Saturday.

Also met Mills at London Road station with the rest of the squad after the Peterborough game and he had a handshake like a wet lettuce

Take the fact that he wound a load of ****s into Pearson and disrespected the gaffer out of the equation.... We are a better defence without him in the side.

The only reason a lot of people dont see it yet is that the two games since have both been away.

You'll see when we next play at home, we wont miss him one bit.

I think he is bad news to have around the other players also, so it's a win win.

Spending over 3million on a player then loaning him out before the seasons even finished THEN even paying his wages!!! I think it's only win win win for Leeds pal!!!

Delighted with this personally. The guy's given poor performance after poor performance and coupled it with an attitude that stinks. I'm glad to see Pearson showing some strong leadership and it's needed: 'I'm the boss, if you don't do it my way or you undermine me, you're out'. There has been too much pandering to players egos and letting them have an easy ride.

I'm all for Pearson whipping them into shape and it seems that his style is very much about drilling an ethos into his squad, getting them playing in the manner he wants them to, and rewarding them when they've got the inevitable rewards (watch him on the pitch with the players after a hard-fought victory, they buzz off him). If Mills couldn't do this then out he goes because keeping him around will only poison the place.

ANOTHER MASSIVE POINT TO MAKE - TO THOSE SAYING HE'S GOING TO HELP A PLAY-OFF RIVAL BLAH BLAH BLAH, IT'S A REDUNDANT POINT!

How many mistakes has Mills made this season? How many times has he been a liability and got stupid red cards?! He could quite easily do this for Leeds, costing them points that they might otherwise have picked up.

What about if the money we save on Mills we use to keep a Delfouneso for the rest of the season? Or to bring another loan player in? Surely that money is better utilised than to keep an unhappy player training with the reserves, still around the club with the potential to undermine Pearson (again as it could well be).

And finally, this is not a two-horse race between us and Leeds. If you're taking the attitude that Mills is going to win Leeds points then they've got to play other teams that will be battling for play-off places. If Mills is so good that he's suddenly the difference between winning points and losing them, maybe he'll help Leeds take points off other play-off rivals that we need to drop points!

It can work either way so there's no point specualting or making assumptions that Mills is going to have a bearing on whether we, or Leeds, can make the play-offs.

And he looked fed up in McDonalds.

And he didn't want to chat on a night out.

I know what you are saying  , but if either one of St Ledger or Morgan gets injured we will become unstuck again, so getting another CB on loan would be beneficial if we lets Mills out on loan.

We have Taft, Bolger and Parkes who would love the opportunity, there's also Moore who can and has played at RB.

Mills has not had the start to his career with his home town club like he would've wanted. But is it all his fault?

He was signed for a ridiculously high price tag and made captain of a club which already had longer serving likely candidates for the role.

He shouldn't mouth off like it seems he has and Pearson is right to make an example of him.

But the best case scenario is that he returns to Leicester, not as captain, and starts again from scratch.

And then maybe he will still be able to have a decent career at Leicester.

If he goes there and has a blinder, so be it. If NP feels he has to go, then it can only be good for the dressing room atmosphere if he has been disrupting it. At this point in the season and with us being quite far adrift of the play offs, we can't afford to have any problems at the club and tbh he's been nothing but below average to average, bar Southampton away. Obviously the row Mills had with NP was on a considerably larger scale compared to that of SSL. Mills, maybe one day you can comeback and play for our club again, but until you rid yourself of your apparent attitude problem, its just not possible.

Posted

Good news I think....if he's upsetting the balance of the team by spitting his dummy out and being disruptive then get him out on loan asap. We can claim some of his outrageous wages back. Bamba, St Ledger and Morgan all on probably half what he earns and are better players, cannot be good for morale. The team finally looks like its starting to gel and we are playing well as a team, we dont need an ego like Mills to upset the balance. He's been poor all season, he cant pass more than 5yards, has been sent off numerous times, conceded penalties, and people say he makes the excellent last ditch tackles but that's because he's allowed their player to get that far past him!

Alex Ferguson as been doing this sort of thing for years and he the best manger ever IMO .

I really don't think people would be so upet if he hadn't cost so much . If it was say Gally instead most on here would be over the moon yet he as done ten time more for us this season than Mills.

Posted

I feel sorry for Millsy. But ultimately i trust NP's judgement - as i did with the SSL incident, i believe he will get what is best for the club. Performances have not been good enough regardless of his price tag.

Bamba?

I didn't think Mills should of been captain but aparently that if he came he got made captain, no player who has just come to a club he doesn't really know deserves to be captain, IMO it should of been Wellens from the start.

I can't see Mills playing for the club again if he goes out on loan, SSL apologized and made up and that's what Mills has to do.
