bald reynard Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 I'm stuck in Cumbria. Can people post some player ratings please ?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Kasper 7 SSL 8 - Keep him in over Peltier Bamba 7 Morgan 7 Kennedy 7 Gallagher 6.5 Danns 7 Wellens 7 Dyer 7 Nugent 6.5 Beckford 8 Schlupp 7 Marshall 5
kingfox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Schmeichel 7 - Nothing much to do, one very good save though and some good kicks St Ledger 8 - Fantastic performance, few slips but overall especially getting forward he was very good Morgan 7 - Decent display by him tonight Bamba 7 - Same as Morgan really, took the ball out of defence a few times etc... Kennedy 8 - His cross for the first goal, and his ball for the second were absolutely incredible, needs to improve defending a bit though Gallagher 5 - Poor in and around the field, set pieces not much better Danns 7 - Great energy and good passing, better second half than first Wellens 7 - Would of gave him more, but became sloppy in second half, drove and passed well in first half Dyer 7 - Good shift from him again, overall performance slowed down towards end Beckford 8 - One easy goal, one good finish that's why he is in the team folks Nugent 6 - Seemed to pick up a slight knock, not himself Subs Schlupp 7 - Impressive little stint, really happy for him Marshall 6 - Some very well wipped in balls, did ok in and around the field aswell in parts
Yojoe36 Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Can't be arsed to type all the shit. So on average. 7.5
Tielemans63 Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Kasper 8 SSL 8 Bamba 7 Morgan 7 Kennedy 7 Gallagher 6 Danns 7 Wellens 7 Dyer 6.5 Nugent 6 Beckford 8 Schlupp 7.5 Marshall 6
Bettsj2 Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Kaspoh 7 - Nothing to do apart from one save St Ledger 7 - Not a great deal better than Pelts Morgan 6 - Thought he was a bit shit Bamba 6.5 - Thought he was a bit less shit than Morgan Kennedy 7 - Played well and delivered a couple of good passes but fully expect Konchesky to come back in. A more than able deputy though Gally 4 - Clearly not fully fit and offered nothing at all Wellens 6.5 - Hmmmm Danns 8 - Put a real shift in. It's clear as day that he has the desire to succeed. The critisism he got after the Reading game interview was so misplaced it's untrue Dyer 6 - Crossing was back to being gash and should have scored when clean through in the 2nd half Nugent 5 - If Beckford put in a performance like that of Nuge tonight, Alan Young would be hiring a hitman Beckford 9 - Really put the effort in tonight and was rewarded with 2 goals and could have had more. Please, please be this Beckford on Sunday SUBS: - Marshall 6 - Didnt really do much and seems to look younger with each game that goes by. Needs something to happen for him to get his confidence up Schlupp 7.5 - Great goal and showed some great touches. His best performance in the first team by miles Pearson 10 - After Saturday I had my doubts as to whether this second spell was working out but you showed tonight that you can and will sort us out to the point that we could actually get promoted next season. The subs were made at the right time and you must have lit a rocket at half time as the 2nd half was one of the best of the season.
MikeyT Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Kasper 8 SSL 8 Bamba 7 Morgan 7 Kennedy 7 Gallagher 6 Danns 7 Wellens 7 Dyer 6.5 Nugent 6 Beckford 8 Schlupp 7.5 Marshall 6 Agree with this entirely, except Danns gets an 8 for me.
HEGGSY Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Kasper 8 SSL 8 Bamba 7 Morgan 7 Kennedy 7 Gallagher 6 Danns 7 Wellens 7 Dyer 6.5 Nugent 6 Beckford 8 Schlupp 7.5 Marshall 6 I'm in total agreement with you on that one
Lcfcman2010 Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Schmeichel 7 - Nothing much to do, one very good save though and some good kicks St Ledger 8 - Fantastic performance, few slips but overall especially getting forward he was very good Morgan 7 - Decent display by him tonight Bamba 7 - Same as Morgan really, took the ball out of defence a few times etc... Blueforever Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Kasper 8 SSL 8 Bamba 8 Morgan 7 Kennedy 5 - Wish he'd be a bit more imaginative going forward to many times he didn't see the options ahead Gallagher 5 - Not his day today Danns 8 - Broke up the play well in midfield MOTM Wellens 7 Dyer 7 Nugent 6 Beckford 8 Schlupp 7.5 Marshall 5 - didn't really get going
Bryn Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Schmeichel 7.5 - Solid all round, some great handling. St Ledger 7.5 - Looked very solid at right back, normally that's the side we get done down. Morgan 7 - Birmingham strikers were kept very quiet. Happy to bring the ball out. Bamba 7 - Even more happy to bring the ball out. Kennedy 7.5 - Another highly polished display, appears to be a very reliable performer. Solid defensively, willing going forwards, major part in two of the goals. And let's not forget, he's on about a tenth of what Konchesky is. Gallagher 6 - Put a shift in tonight, in these games when we play well he's very involved. His delivery lacked its usual quality though. Wellens 7 - The midfield were firmly in control and Wellens' desire to make himself available to other players was a large part of that Danns 8 - Ran the show. He was all over the pitch tonight, driving us forward. Looks a new player. Dyer 7.5 - One of our biggest threats going forward and his tracking back remains top notch. Nugent 7 - Busy as ever, tired towards the end. Beckford 7.5 - Looked very threatening, two well taken goals, job well done. Subs Marshall 6 - Hasn't sparked into life yet. Schlupp 7 - Very coolly taken goal, his general play looked complete and up to scratch. Will be knocking on the door.
kingfox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Kennedy 5 - Wish he'd be a bit more imaginative going forward to many times he didn't see the options ahead Come on is that a joke, Kennedy was good tonight, he got forward well and his crosses were decent. He basically set up two goals, with two incredible balls. And you give him 5, no no no NO! way.
Bugg Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Gallagher was no worse than Dyer and is getting worse ratings. I must have been at a different game.
Burmesefox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 sorry bugg but Dyer had a hard time of it being squeezed but he was always a threat and strong. gally, well he's just a bit powder puff really and I feel a bit of a luxury (Andy king-esque).
Saxondale Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Kaspa 9 - Solid as ever St Ledger 9 - Superb at rightback and suprisingly good going forward Morgan 8 - Solid Bamba 8 - Looking at his best and moved forward well in his trademark style Kennedy 7 - Looked very average first half but grew in stature in the second with some great tackles and interceptions Gallagher 6 - OK but didn't offer a great deal Danns 8 - Super hard working and looking lively going forward again Wellens 7 - One of the better players first half but let himself down later on with a few dodgy, wasteful balls Dyer 8 - Hard work, looked dangerous, moved inside well Nugent 6 - Didn't offer a great deal. Can't complain too much but not one of his better games Beckford 8 - Excellent display. Good effort, good touch, good pace and showed what he's capable off with his late second goal Schlupp 8 - Wonderkid done good again, deserved to get a goal. Always looks dangerous and battles well too Marshall 6 - Looked OK
Legend_in_blue Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Yet again we've prevailed against a set of abysmal officials who, try as they might to ruin the game for us, did not succeed. The tide is turning people. I'd give everyone a 7 bar Gallagher and Nugent, 6, and give Bamba, Morgan, Beckford and Kasper an 8. NP gets a 9 from me. Said it before, say it again, those people questioning NP need to take a long hard look at themselves.
Mark_w Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Schmeichel 8 - Typical Kasper, did brilliantly when called upon. St. Ledger 8 - Looked very solid defensivley and alright going forward. Bamba 7 - What you'd expect from him, solid although at times a little scary. Morgan 7 - Looks very good, well worth the money. Kennedy 7 - Looked quite good, some nice crosses as well. Gallagher 6 - Did ok, worked harder than he usually does I thought, but not much was going right for him. Danns 7 - Full of energy as usual, doing well alongside Wellens. Wellens 7 - Solid, starting to look like his old self again. Dyer 7 - Not as incredible as a few of his recent performances, but was willing to run at defenders caused them a few problems. Beckford 9 - Brilliant, two nice goals, and he's looking a much, much better player all round under Nigel, working much harder than he did in the first half of the season, and he's being rewarded for it, same on sunday please. Nugent 5.5 - Not his best game, didn't think he really offered much at all, but he's been great this season so can't complain. Schluup 7 - Looked solid, I wasn't sold on him but a couple of performances before his injury and today are winning me round, could be a very good player for us. Marshall 6 - Was alright, didn't get much time on the ball but did a decent job when he did, didn't do much wrong at least.
ScouseFox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Danns getting more solid ratings all round. Good to see.
AKCJ Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Kasper 7 SSL 8 Bamba 7 Big Wes 7 Kennedy 7 Gallagher 3 Wellens 8 Danns 8 Dyer 7 Nugent 6 Beckford 9 Schlupp 8 Marshall 6
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 St Ledger has good skills, quick feet. At times in the attacking third on the right he was most impressive.
thybluefox Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Agree with most, Beckford was back on form and SSL suprised me at RB. Point about Marshall, I know he's struggling in play but he can't half deliver a decent corner.
MPH Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Kasper 8 Kennedy 5 - Wish he'd be a bit more imaginative going forward to many times he didn't see the options ahead The same Kennedy who set up two of our goals with some great passes?
Dan Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Schmeichel - 8. Made a very good save to deny Chris Burke. Impressive distribution too. Not blaming him for their goal. St Ledger - 7. Did what he had to in a different to usual position, looked no worse than Peltier has done. Bamba - 7. Rock. Didn't let anything past him tonight. Morgan - 7. See Bamba, those two had one hell of a job against a team hoofing it up to Zigic. Kennedy - 6. Not bad, pretty good tackler but a pretty limited player, offers nowhere near as much as Konchesky. Gallagher - 4. Totally ineffective. Wellens - 7. Good game, some good passes and actually tried to run at the opposition as well. Danns - 6. I still think he's a bit limited, a good worker but I think technical-wise he's pretty limited for a centre midfielder. Dyer - 7. Quiet-ish game but always looked threatening when involved. Nugent - 5. Wasn't as the races today, again. Beckford - 8. A relatively good game and he added two goals, it's exactly the Beckford we need, scores two without even playing that well. Subs; Marshall - 5. Quiet again but I think he's a better option than Gallagher. Schlupp - 8. Great impact, did what Nugent wasn't doing tonight, lovely finish too. He's got huge potential. Ref/officials - 2. Got such basics wrong AGAIN, awarded a penalty softer than the majority of shouts we have turned down AGAIN, inconsistent AGAIN. It's a fvcking joke now, I genuinely believe there could be something iffy going on, it's not a professional performance we see, it's just absolute kack. Pearson - 8. Turned it around at last, we often come out stronger in the second half and today was no exception, got his subs spot on. I still feel as a team though we need to work harder to actually want the ball, so often do we just have the ball and our player has limited time to get rid of it to a team-mate, only there's no team-mate to get rid of it to, so we end up hoofing it or crossing it to players who can't win headers. It's without doubt our biggest downfall as a team IMO, lack of space found off the ball.
NeilyBoy Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Kasper - 7.5 St Ledger - 6.5 Bamba - 7 Morgan - 7 Kennedy - 7.5 Gallagher - 5.5 Danns - 7 Wellens - 6.5 Dyer - 7 Beckford - 7.5 Nugent - 6.5 Schlupp - 7.5 Marshall - 6
Finnegan Posted 14 March 2012 Posted 14 March 2012 Gallagher was no worse than Dyer and is getting worse ratings. I must have been at a different game. Gallagher was awful, particularly in the second half building up to his removal. He was constantly drifting in which lost us width, he was wasteful with the ball, looked fatigued when having to chase it more than two yards and even his touch was sloppy at times. Breaking point for me was that break down the right when all he had to do was square it for Nugent in space but he waited and waited and waited before tapping the tamest of crosses to the first defender once they'd recovered. Absolutely painful to watch. Fortunately it seemed to be breaking point for Pearson as well and I thought Marshall had one of his better games when he came on. Didn't set the world alight but was solid and composed and put in a lot of effort. Dyer was just average, didn't do a whole lot wrong.
