Post Match Hull

3 points is the main thing and I would of taken 4 against Hull and Blackpool beginning of the week just a shame Danns again had to do that. 9 red cards so far this season is appalling

2 good goals and after Danns went off every member of the team gave their all at defending the lead.

Good team performance with Dyer the stand out. :scarf:

We never make things easy not getting too carried about the playoffs, massive game on Tuesday against those Forest b**tards we will beat them hopefully.

other results going our way too, Brighton and middlesborough drawing and Blackpool losing!

Am I ok in saying play offs are back on?

Yes foxes never quit and City never make it easy

Beckford was brilliant as the lone frontman

Dyer was dangerous every time he got the ball & prob MotM

Nugent was missing whole match, think Schlupp would have been better on the left of the 5 man mid, but I suppose it would have been too attacking to have him & Dyer on each wing

Defence which gave posession away so much in the first half, didn't in the 2nd and held firm - limiting Hull to hardly any chances at all

Danns was stupid, regardless of whether the Hull guy could have walked or not, Danns went over the ball with studs showing and deserved his read.

Pelts was lucky in the melee as he shoved his forehead in someone's face - which often leads to red.

5mins after the red when we settled down it was very comfortable & Bamba further steadied the ship as he doesn't lose the ball

great result today & it makes the mid-week result against Blackpool an excellent point!

Every time we say the play offs are on we throw it away, when we think we haven't got a chance we win and it goes our way, lets pretend we don't care

On a more serious note well done to the lads, it wasn't the best performance but they thought hard for those three points. Not going to bring up any negatives as I'm just happy with three points, think we should just be happy with that today.

3 points off play offs if we'd hung on at Blackpool. Good point but still 2 dropped

Horrible timing for Danns to get sent off, especially with his form.

Good win though and now the next two games really are pivotal. Win them both and shit gets real.

We were starting to look very, very good until the sending off, even after that we still played some decent stuff.

Very, very pleased we held out. Good stuff.

Dyer magnificent today. If only he could finish, but a BRILLIANT display by him. We keep writing him off, and he keeps coming back. Thought Marshall was very good as well, and Drinkwater. Loved Bamba in midfield, unlucky not to score, outrageous skill.
