MGLCFC Posted 30 July 2012 Posted 30 July 2012 If someone offered him similar wages and we could recoup £2mil, then he'd go, no doubt, as I don't think he is enjoying his time at Leicester. Personally I'd like him to stay as I think with better service he is capable of 20+ league goals.

Yes you get the best out of Beckford, but it isn't necessarily the best thing for the team.

He is brilliant at this level I no it, the manager knows it, so support the players that play in our shirt not hate them!!!!!!!!! Things change mate and Pearson never said he's the number one striker so you better start coming to terms with it!

burni Posted 30 July 2012 Posted 30 July 2012 Favorite for top goalscorer, rather have him in my own side than leeds or whoever is interested please! i dont get why were so bothered about his wages as last season we a large number of players on this kind of wage, the Thais have not just suddenly run out of money, especially since we've released and sold a few players. cant see anyone matching his wages if they are what they are rumored to be.

Ashley Posted 30 July 2012 Posted 30 July 2012 Based on what? Probably based on the fact we would have one decent striker at the club. Waghorn and Futacs won't provide the goods. As much as I rate Vardy and said how good he will become... It'll take time and I very much doubt it will be instant. Schlupp.. again will take time. For people who think selling Beckford is good, think again!!
