The Doctor Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Beyond a handful of five or six sides, it's certainly no better than the Premiership. Oh aye, but the point I was attempting to make was that judging the quality of a league on a couple of players is down right moronic.
AjcW Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Why would David Templeton, arguably the best young player in the SPL, move to New Rangers in Division 3......
Anorak Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Watford - Exactly how many players are you allowed to loan from your owners other teams? Seems ridiculous.
Jaspa Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Everton condition seems to have improved dramatically In one year Am I forgetting something or did something major happen for them, like new investors ? I know about Rodwell
AjcW Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 They've only spent 10m... I'd imagine they got at least 10 for Rodwell....
Simmo86 Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Got to fancy you for promotion. Cox is a great player and one of those players I always wish we'd sign for Leicester. With Billy Sharp now alongside him, you've got the most dangerous front-line in the league. We started last year with Beckford and Nuge and got nowhere. Just because they're both good players doesn't mean they'll form a partnership
Libertine Dream Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 We started last year with Beckford and Nuge and got nowhere. Just because they're both good players doesn't mean they'll form a partnership I reckon they will and score lots of goals in the process
Leicfox Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Blackpool have completed moves for Nathan Eccleston and Nathan Delfouneso ahead of the transfer window closing. Eccleston has joined The Seasiders permanently from Liverpool on a one-year deal with an option for a further year, while Delfouneso arrives on a season-long loan deal from Aston Villa. They also signed Kirk Broadfoot on a free.
whoareyaaa Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Reports are now emerging that Joao Moutinho is more likely to stay at Porto than move to Tottenham Hotspur. Tottenham fans we're jizzing over this earlier now it aint happening.
Aleksz Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Im sorry but 3m for Maicon, 7m for Lloris & 6m for Demspey are absolute steals, if there was ever an example of how ridiculously overpriced english players are. West Ham (Jarvis) and Liverpool (Carroll and Henderson) im looking at you..

Tielemans63 Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Stoke have signed Adam, Nzonzi and Edu. Things must be very, very tight at Liverpool. Adam out, Carroll out, no-one in (as yet) and they wouldn't go above £4 million for Dempsey when he only went for £6 mill.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Rory Smith of the Times posted the figure Rodgers has knocked off the wage bill at Anfield after today's business. Staggering amount, around 450k he reckons.
Libertine Dream Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Disappointed Spurs didnt get Moutinho, midfield would have been immense if theyd added him to it

tartanowl Posted 1 September 2012 Posted 1 September 2012 Top signings from Forest. Even though he is a Blade I would take Billy Sharp in an instant at Hillsborough. He is a very intelligent football player, an excellent and hard working pro, and he scores goals too. He only flopped at the Lane due to Blackwell's hoofball not suiting his game. Excellent signing for Championship level. I'm a big fan of Coppinger too. He's another very cultured and intelligent football player. Great touch, good range of passing, and always a threat. O'Driscoll will get the best out of them. I'm pleased with our business too. Bothroyd should score goals and he has decent pace. We are looking good up front now with Rodri, Madine, Maguire, and a resurgent O'Grady fighting for places. Chris O'Grady didn't look good enough for League 1 last season but he has been a revelation so far since pre-season. Taylor adds some more Championship experience to the back too. Another two loans are expected one of which is the exciting and upcoming talent Ross Barkley. Our squad is beginning to look pretty good now. Playoff contenders if we can keep people fit.
Fox92 Posted 1 September 2012 Posted 1 September 2012 Although I hate to say it, you've made some good signings yourself. Bothroyd will score goals at this level, no doubt.
Matt Posted 1 September 2012 Posted 1 September 2012 Just been watching SSN and down the side of the screen it had all the championship deadline deals - what the **** are Watford doing? Signing the a team full of Udinese players? They have signed about 6 Udinese players on loan, what was it a BOGOF deal?

Matt Posted 1 September 2012 Posted 1 September 2012 clubs owners also own udinese. Ahh that explains it, so Watford are just gonna be a feeder club for Udinese, could work, maybe.
Father Ted Posted 1 September 2012 Posted 1 September 2012 Ahh that explains it, so Watford are just gonna be a feeder club for Udinese, could work, maybe. And Grenada
Narborough_fox Posted 1 September 2012 Author Posted 1 September 2012 Just been watching SSN and down the side of the screen it had all the championship deadline deals - what the **** are Watford doing? Signing the a team full of Udinese players? Watford Football Club A.K.A. Udinese Reserves.
Tielemans63 Posted 1 September 2012 Posted 1 September 2012 Ahh that explains it, so Watford are just gonna be a feeder club for Udinese, could work, maybe. Could work, although they sold their best centre half and captain (Martin Taylor) for a pittance on fri and were then boshed 5-1 at Derby on sat!
