Fox92 Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 I'm not sure a target man has to be prolific as long as he can hold the ball up, bring others into play, help out defensively from set plays and chip in with 10 goals - Did Howard score last year? Yet everyone chanted Super Super Stevie Howard every time he came on. He did a job, was hardly mobile and was never prolific, but he almost had cult status because of one goal he scored against Leeds. Totally agree... Although, I liked Howard because he always tried his best and, as a lower league player, appreciated playing at a higher level. Also, the hat trick away at West Brom was a fantastic day! I welcome the move of Marko Futaks, and believe he can be the target man I wanted Nigel to sign.

Your not going to get anyone of any real quality whos willing to sit on the bench near enough week in week out. Plus he'd be free so it gives us more cash to spend in other areas we need to strenthen.

Just wondered why you took something off wikipedia where I can literally go onto now and change it to say he's in talks with Chelsea for example. And the fact we already know he's in talks with us.
