Or he has value to our other strikers in setting up chances or acting as a foil to move the opposing CBs to create space for our players to exploit just a thought.

But we aren't spending three million quid on Futacs, we aren't expecting him to be our main goalscorer (Only for him to go on and score 9 league goals) and we aren't (I assume) paying him such an insane weekly wage...

I think, as long as he doesn't do a Sticks on us, he could be a useful option. Low wages I imagine too - which can only be good. But this leaves us with striker issues. Lots to shoehorn in to a 2 or 3. Probably a bench player and worth the risk.

As for that situation it all depends on how often he plays, what sort of contribution he makes generally and how much potential he shows. if he scores 2 goals but gets 15 assists and we go on to win the League then I wont be complaining. You need to put things into perspective, we've got him on a free and probably as an option off the bench.
