Matt Posted 9 June 2012 Posted 9 June 2012 Well Holland did look tempting to bet on to win the competition and don't get me wrong this is only the first game but if this is the best they have got - when they are fresh, how will they be later on if and when tiredness and injuries hit? Glad I didn't choose Holland to win the competition based on this performance, mind you unless they pull it back which looks increasingly unlikely i'll have lost money on them today anyway.

Not clear at all, very debateable and both could have gone either way.The arms weren't by their sides but the ball was knocked against them from close range. Holland were poor, had loads of possession but in truth they created mostly half chances, had a couple of great ones which they missed of course. Denmark found it so easy to find space when going forward. I don't rate Portugal but I think they'll fancy their chances now.
