Some Forest fan interviewed on SSN just said "I'd love to see Davies back or maybe ERIKSSON to take us forward."

God I hope his wish comes true!

Got Cheltenham Town promoted 3 times without spending a penny, did ok at Burnley and Pompey and Notts County and kept Florist up, one of the most qualified coaches around and seemed to be well thought of here when he was coaching and doesnt tolerate prima donnas. Cannot see what your problem is with him.

All that "She said no, Sven" bollocks has been forgotten then?

Problem is, time and again these kind of takeovers happen, and yet neither owners nor fans ever learn...

Has there ever actually been a championship/lower league side that has been bought by rich owners and succeeded straight away? I honestly cannot think of any...

Would Jack Walkers Blackburn count? Or John Madjiewskis Reading?

I think it would be a huge gamble if they appointed Hoddle, is been out of club management for quite a few years. If I was Forest I'd go for either Holloway or give Clough a go with a cheque book.

Mick McCarthy is the name being most mentioned and anyone else will be a massive surprise. Apparently it's to be announced this week.

Are you happy with that?. I know i wouldn't be. I can't stand the bloke.

Would have thought from an owners point of view McLeish or McCarthy would make most sense, seeing as they have achieved promotion before.
