I think they should have given Cotterill time because it wasn't his fault they were near the bottom, might have been good with a cheque book. I'm going to stick with the rumours and say McLeish for the job though I think they should go for Clough at Derby, he'll be a threat with a cheque book. Also just imagine seeing Holloway coming out of the dug out, sticking up two fingers at us.

atm Darren Ferguson is favourite with some bookies. wouldnt be surprised if he went tbh....I think we'll probably get more idea of who they might get on Saturday at the takeover press conference,

Lots of clubs getting a bit of dough in the Championship this season, it usually takes clubs a few years to settle down though and be a success. We are still trying to do that. It'll be interesting to see what they do.

Can't see this take over paying off for them immediatley, a settled decent consistant team is how you get out of this division and I suspect massive changes at Forest over the next 2 months.

If they get Redknapp though they might do well despite that.

I think if Forest get the right man in place and take note of our mistakes since we got taken over then I can't see why they won't be in the mix come the end of the season.

Problem is, time and again these kind of takeovers happen, and yet neither owners nor fans ever learn...

Has there ever actually been a championship/lower league side that has been bought by rich owners and succeeded straight away? I honestly cannot think of any...

Cotterill was and is awful. Dont like him as a manager or person. He hasn't done anything in his managerial career yet and think Forest will be better now.

Except continually bore the world to death whenever his teams have rolled up at Filbert Way, killing the game of any entertainment.

Thank god for Jermaine Beckford in the cup replay, was fearing penalties after another 0-0.

I think they will approach Harry Redknapp. Nottingham Forest are a big club with alot of history and I think Harry will see it as a good challenge and a chance to take a big club back into the Premiership

they're in talks with dalglish

Blimey, Pearson and Dalglish in the same region.

The local reporters will have their work cut out.

Been on the forest forum, I'd say 70% of their fans don't want McLeish. Not surprise really he ruined Villa, got them playing dreadful boring football same with Birmingham.

But he got Birmingham out of the Championship at the first attempt, they conceded the fewest goals all season, even less than Wolves who finished first.
