I often wonder why he doesn't just ask the players how their names pronounced (you only have to hear the way he pronounced 'Kermorgant' to know that he doesn't), instead of just taking a wild stab in the dark. The same should go for commentators, too!

Either way, Knockaert is a ridiculous surname, so he should change it to Smith to save us the hassle.

Commentators ALWAYS try to make players names sound fancy or mis pronounce them winds me up! The one that has probably got on my nerves the most is Marco Reus. Commentators during the European Championships were pronouncing it Royce when it's Ray-Us like the town/village near Salou in Spain

To be fair to Pleat, I don't think any of us say JJ's name right. I think Joachim is a German name, and it's probably pronounced yo-a-kim.

It is properly pronounced 'kormark'. The proper spelling is KÃ¥mark, and the Swedish 'Ã¥' is an 'aw' sound. He just spelt his name with two two 'a's because of the lack of 'Ã¥' in English.
