FuriousFox46 Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 Which would you prefer to have as our national anthem?
wattolcfc Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 GSTQ - Why change something that's not broke? Sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it.
Fox92 Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 Our National Anthem is boring. Nothing compared to the likes of France, Brazil and Italy.
davieG Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 If you mean for Great Britain then stick with GSTQ all though I think it's like a funeral dirge. If you mean for England then we should definitely have something different and just for England anything but GSTQ.
Guest Bilo Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 GSTQ - British anthem Jerusalem - English anthem
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 Why should England be the only UK country to continually play this in most sports? England sides in all sports should play "Land of Hope and Glory", whilst teams representing G.B. should play the National Anthem, as in the Olympics.
The Doctor Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 All three of those can fuck right off and die in an alley.
MooseBreath Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 would love to see a line up of linked-arm moody looking england players belting this out
Leicesterpool Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 Every British nation are allowed a anthem except us we forced too sing the British anthem, Jerusalem makes me feel proud to be English!
21st Century Fox Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 Every British nation are allowed a anthem except us we forced too sign the British anthem, Jerusalem makes me feel proud to be English!
Leicesterpool Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 I don't think the queen is bothered about us singing the national anthem! but those snobs at the fa won't let us have our real national anthem!
jonthefox Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 May I ask why? Because its our anthem. Always has been, always will be.
I am Rod Hull Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 Great Britain - God save the Queen. England - Land of hope and glory. "I vow to thee my country" should get a mention.
