Prem eyes on Foxes starlet

Don't get people saying we would have taken 250k 2 weeks ago. He's an England Under-19 international, he's tipped to have a big future with us by the academy bosses, Pearson obviously likes him to give him a chance against Palace last year. We'd have never taken 250k.

We shouldn't do business unless it is that sort of silly money mentioned

Whilst it's obvious some may need to leave before others can come in, Moore won't be one of them

More BS I would imagine to get him a better contract, will hopefully lead to him having a great PA on FM though.

I like the lad and all but I honestly can't believe how quickly this interest has escalated. I mean Pearson was just testing things out last season chucking him in v Palace and then he has only started this season because of SSL's injury and Whitbreads lack of fitness so for every paper to be reporting all this interest in him is a bit strange.

I think the fact he is English is what alot of the fuss is about. Plus his age. Is he worth 3 million? No way. But that might be the market value these days for a young English CB playing well in the championship.

To get a talented young Englishman in your Euro/ champions league squad these days is a big bonus.

Really don't get what all the fuss is about, maybe its something I'm not recognizing when i have seen him. Hes just about managing championship level and I think its great with got an academy player breaking through but he looks far from the finished article for the championship let alone the top end of the premiership. Not being negative about him hes been a cracking result out of a few unfit center backs not making the team, but manutd? realllllly? Moore than happy if i'm proven wrong

Why sell a promising player? Unless he wants to go obviously but. We don't need the money, we could do with holding on to him at the moment. It is interesting that a players loyalty is thrown into the conversation when lured by a bigger club - but what about the fans that would trade a potential future Leicester legend for a couple of million? Hardly showing loyalty to a Leicester lad/player.

Or why not take good money now for potential? He may go on to be the next stuart campbell or jon ashton or matt piper not the next heskey or lineker. If the right offer comes in take it but with a 2 year loan back and a decent sell on. It's the sensible option.

I know what you mean, but we haven't got a clue what sort of offers we'd get for him. Every player has a price.

I'd agree - if it's only a couple of million and we can get him to sign a new contract, I'd prefer it if we kept him, but we all know how overpriced English players are. If we get offered silly money, we'd be mad not to sell. He might not reach his expected potential, or he could be the next Matt Piper.

Just because someone is a promising player, that isnt always a guarentee they are going to make it big *cough* Mattock *cough*

If silly money like 5m is being mentioned then it might be worth taking it....

The market's gone mad, it's just amazing how over-priced English youngsters are and I do feel a little correlation between that and an under-achieving national team.

I mean, I am a fan of Moore, but has he done anything to be worth £5mil? Has he fvck. Says it all really that the only justification for that kind of fee is "well they paid more for Smalling".

I sound like I'm criticising the lad, I'm not at all and it isn't his fault, and I shouldn't be moaning because we're the ones who'd benefit (I reckon), it'd be a real shame to lose what I believe is our best defensive youth prospect since I've been going, but £5mil is very hard to turn down, especially given the FFP.

Not yet, but Arsenal may gamble on his potential. Moore is versatile and athletic and is obviously impressing the scouts despite his inexperience. £5 mill could turn out to be a real bargain if he becomes a solid player in the premiership for 10+ years.

Well he is already better than Matt Mills, £5 million is not enough he has the potential to be 10 times the player Mills is, so nothing less than £50 million!!!

Just his agent trying to get him a better deal.

It doesn't seem like agent talk according to the man himself

Tom Foyster â€@13thoughts

@liammoore93's agent is working very hard, 'interest' from#mufc AND #afc. Wonder what slice of a contract Mr Agent gets? #lcfc

Maybe he could afford an English tutor with enough money?

Seriously though, Moore is hardly going to come out and say "its all bullshit, i'm just trying to rip the club off on a new contract"
