Nige has returned to his 2009 form amd Knocky sounds like the best player we have had in years, none of this happened last season did it? I can accept I have doubted and might be wrong, can you accept you were blinkered last year? A) Not exactly renowned for 'accentuating the positive' yourself are you? You've chosen to tonight though so I guess that's something. B) No it didn't happen last season - how could it have? Sven left a car crash of a club and it's taken Pearson more than half a season to sort it. Most people on here could see that we were slowly improving but not even the most hopeful fan expected to see Nigel replicate his '2009 form' last season. C) Absolutely don't accept that I was 'blinkered' last year. How do you think we've got to this point? The two seasons aren't completely separate entities. NP may have been brutal in his quest to separate the wheat from the chaff but that's what he started last season and now we're starting to see the fruits of his labours.
