Dan Posted 4 October 2012 Posted 4 October 2012 Truth be told whilst the fans who jumped on the bandwagon used to wind me up, it doesn't really bother me that much anymore, it's natural that they'll only turn up when they're getting far better value for money. More to do with offers though, I've got nothing against any fan who only goes when it's an offer.
dayday Posted 4 October 2012 Posted 4 October 2012 Looking at the stadium plan of the ground on the official site, there are plenty of seats available...unless it goes mad or the webpage has not been updated i reckon 26,000 max
Jace Posted 4 October 2012 Posted 4 October 2012 Just ring up - I gave up with the site, no being put on hold for me at the mo cos it's still during the work day. Got 3 extra tickets at the offer price in 2 mins flat! P.S. There's no limited areas - it's wherever you want, so god knows what's up with the site Can't make it now gf has got to work gutted surely won't be 5 out of 5 anyway!

purpleronnie Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 Makes me laugh some of the predictions...why would there be a massive increase? that rarely happens even if we win a few...thats why I predicted 23k.....unless something amazing happens like £10 tickets all round, or we're top towards the end of the season we'll always get around 23k.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 22000, don't think the attendances will pick up too dramatically just yet Looks like I was about right
ceebeefox Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 Does anyone else think the club are fiddling the books a bit? There was no way only 22,500 , 10,000 spare seats? Really ? No way.
dogadug Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 Kop and family stand both looked virtually full to me
lestajigs Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 Does anyone else think the club are fiddling the books a bit? There was no way only 22,500 , 10,000 spare seats? Really ? No way. I thought there looked at least 25000 today
fox ache Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 Does anyone else think the club are fiddling the books a bit? There was no way only 22,500 , 10,000 spare seats? Really ? No way. it includes all season tickets, whether you are there or not
acooling08 Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 Having been at every home game this season, either todays attendance figure was too low, or every other games' figure has been too high.
ithuriel Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 Nah, away section was maybe a 1000 at best it seemed and there was plenty of empty seats in the corners, if we are in the same position come the next saturday home game i wreckon we may get quite a few in.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 Having been at every home game this season, either todays attendance figure was too low, or every other games' figure has been too high. more likely to be the latter
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 For the first time in a while I'd say today was a tad on the embarassing side attendance-wise. Affordable ticket pricing and second in the League - would have expected a few thousand more. Saying that, I remember having crowds as low as 15, 16,000 at Filbo under O'Neill in the Prem do it just goes to show how far we've come as a club, and one of the huge benefits of the new ground.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 I think there looked more than 22.5k here today too!

I realise there was a deal on but you only benefited if you knew someone who was a season ticket holder. I don't think there are that many in that boat, so actually the prices were still terrible. I'd say Bristol brought about 2,000 less than Hull. As I said in the other thread, it's going to take a bit more time. Just because we've hit 2nd recebtly doesn't mean people will come flooding back straight away. We need to maintain it for a bit.

ealingfox Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 Stringer said there were around 670 travellers.
foxile5 Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 Stringer said there were around 670 travellers. Those filthy Gippos get everywhere.
ealingfox Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 it includes all season tickets, whether you are there or not Except he's saying there were fewer empty seats than implied, not more. Those filthy Gippos get everywhere. Yawn. Wondered how long that would take.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 7 October 2012 Posted 7 October 2012 in my humble opinion the club need to sort out the membership fiasco and quickly. i know there are alot of fans like myself who would go to more home games if they sorted this out. We should be averaging 25'000 plus this season, not just over 20'000
