Finnegan Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 Wasn't that the Flinstones? People in Kuwait don't like the Flintstones, but people in Abu Dhabi Dooooo I really wish I hadn't laughed at that.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 Daniel Craig in Casino Royale for me. Fairly realistic and not as sarcastic as other Bond's. The one where they have the invisible cars driving around the ice hotel is crap. Quite liked Octopussy though
Kitchandro Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 You've got to take Bond for what it is. It's not meant to be a serious movie, it's closer to the fantasy action of the likes of Batman than it is any movie which tries to be factual. It's just a light hearted bit of fun, and what it does it does well. Exactly. They're a laugh, they're entertainment. Quantum of Solace on the other hand was absolutely dreadful, it didn't really have that light-hearted Bond movie feel yet it wasn't an exciting plot like Casino Royale. They've become a bit more serious with Daniel Craig which is fine if they get it right like Casiono Royale but thb I'd be happy if they just went back to the ol style a bit more. Don't know what was wrong with Die Another Day myself, thought that one was pretty good. I used to watch Goldeneye all the time when I was younger, that's got to be my fave, Onatopp was the best Bond girl. The chick in the new one is a very disappointing choice.
Fox92 Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 'Live and Let Die' is my favourite, but I enjoy watching most of the older editions. Although I still watch them, the newer Bond's arn't a patch on Ian Fleming's. Roger Moore is my favourite Bond though.
rico Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 There's some great lines in Octopussy, but my favourite Bonds' are From Russia With Love and Goldfinger
stix Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 I used to watch Goldeneye all the time when I was younger, that's got to be my fave, Onatopp was the best Bond girl. The chick in the new one is a very disappointing choice. Goldeneye on sky anytime at the minute. Along with some others. Didn't realise sky had put a 007 film channel up to celebrate the half century
Wycombe Fox Posted 30 January 2013 Posted 30 January 2013 Bernard Horsfall, who played agent Campbell in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, died yesteday aged 82. He was the guy trying to get to Piz Gloria and claimed to be a bird-watcher.

Grandad. Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 Yeah scared me as well. Sad to hear of his passing. In other Bond news, we're still over a year away from Bond 24.
MPH Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 Iconic actor. He was part of my childhood in those Bond movies. Probably my scariest yet favorite bad guy as a kid. Wish he hadnt of been in Happy Gilmore.

Fox92 Posted 4 December 2014 Posted 4 December 2014 Surprised there hasn't been any mention of this! Spectre is the name of the latest movie, announced today. Ernst Blofeld could be back too! (I say "could", I'm not sure if it's official, I've just seen it on the news).
