Skyfall was dreadful, honestly most of the Craig ones have been apart from Casino Royale

 

The Home Alone bit at the end was funny and M dies which was a plus but I can't remember anything else about it. Forgettable.

 

QOS was just any sub-par action film. 5/10.

 

Casino Royale was great because it wasn't like a Bond film

Casino Royale has been dampened by it's successors. You genuinely got the feeling it was finally a new spin on the series a change in direction it desperately needed and then they just returned back to the old tropes.

Just got back. Action sequences were very good. Didn't like the plot. 6.5 out of 10.

 

Casino Royale still the best.

Good point. I have watched a few and found them to be utterly tedious and the saturation repeats on ITV just completely alienate me. I have no interest in the Bond as a film franchise. Flemings books are far better.

Did anyone watch League of Gentleman Mark Gatiss and writer Matthew Sweet on BBC4 having a chinwag about all the Bonds to date last night?

If Skyfall is awful what does that make Quantum of Solace? That was actually awful, whether you liked Skyfall or not think it's a stretch to say it was that bad.

Skyfall was great, QOS was just ok, Casino Royale was decent. I'm looking forward to getting a copy of Spectre from my local DVD street vendor.

Just got back. Quite enjoyed Spectre, thought it was good. Had everything I expected of a Bond film. Only negative is the fact, nowadays, he always seems to lose his 00 status/licence at the start of the film.
