White Kit Debuts At Birmingham

Get £5 off the new white away shirt ahead of its first outing at St Andrew's on Saturday.

Leicester City’s 2012/13 white away kit by PUMA will make its first team debut this weekend when the Foxes travel to Birmingham City in the npower Championship.

And to celebrate the kit’s first outing, we’re offering a £5 discount on every white away shirt purchased between now and 3pm on Saturday!

Launched last month and now on sale from the City Fanstore and online atLCFCDirect.com, the white-and-navy strip is the only one of this season’s three kits yet to be worn by Nigel Pearson’s side.

But Foxes fans will get their first glimpse of their heroes in white when they go in search of a sixth successive league win against Lee Clark’s Blues at St Andrew’s on Saturday.

The latest of PUMA’s 2012/13 designs, which features white shirts, navy shorts and white socks, supplements the blue-and-white home strip and the black-and-gold away design.

White and blue have been familiar colours to City away strips during the Club’s recent history. The PUMA design provides a classic take on the combination with the introduction of navy shorts and navy trim to the shirt and socks.

The shirt incorporates the very latest technology to ensure maximum comfort for both players and supporters. The V-neck collar and sleeves are trimmed with navy, along with navy-panelled side vents and navy detail around the high-definition, embroidered Club crest and on the distinctive PUMA cat.

To make sure you’re sporting the white shirt for its first outing at Birmingham this Saturday, purchase yours today from the City Fanstore or online atLCFCDirect.com*.

All white away shirts purchased between now and 3pm on Saturday 20 October will receive a £5 discount.

*Online orders must be processed with express delivery by midday on Thursday 18 October for delivery before Saturday. Please allow 3-7 days for standard delivery.

I swear they play in blue and white? surely more suitable to be playing in black

Marketing tactics by the club, if we keep wearing the black one then no-one will ever buy the white one. So we'll turn up in our Derby kit a few times when we really don't need to. As you say, the black kit would clearly be adequate this Saturday.

Not as great a loss as SSL. At least we have plenty of cover for Vardy. And he could do with a rest anyway.

He's had two weeks off...

What time is everyone arriving on saturday?

I see a poll coming :D

I'd have kept the same team personnally. Pearson out!

Looking into some stats for tomorrow, considering some comments of 'how exposed we've been down our right hand side'... Read this.

"1 of 2 Championship sides to have not conceded a goal from down the right in open play".

Birmingham stat

"Scored the joint third highest proportion of goals in stoppage time in the football league".

You know what's coming tomorrow then.
