i luv u foxes Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 We're short of quality in midfield? I think it could be improved but I don't agree that we have a problem in that area. I like James, drinkwater and king but a times they can be a bit inconsistent and I do think Dorrans would fit in we'll with those three
Harry - LCFC Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 I like James, drinkwater and king but a times they can be a bit inconsistent and I do think Dorrans would fit in we'll with those three Bit of experience might help actually, we can be a bit naive when we're chasing the game - almost try too hard at times and rush things. Calm head might make a difference. EDIT: Only just realised how young he is! Still, played in a good team and has been promoted before.
Tielemans63 Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 Not sure he's the player he was 2/3 years ago, prob worth a gamble though.
Libertine Dream Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 I can't see him coming here or us paying the price. Also doesn't add that bit of physicality that we need. Great player but doubt it will happen
i luv u foxes Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 Most of my family are baggies fans and they can't speak highly enough of him and don't want him to leave and when ever I see baggies on the box and if his playing he always looks impressive
TheUltimateWinner Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 Dorrans won't join us. 1) WBA Demand a £4M transfer fee 2) He has a massive ego, he walked away from the team when he wasn't starting.
halferowley2 Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 I like James, drinkwater and king but a times they can be a bit inconsistent and I do think Dorrans would fit in we'll with those three So he would be inconsistent as well ?
i luv u foxes Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 So he would be inconsistent as well ? No, but similar type of player e.g passer of the ball same mould of player can't comment on consistency with him
LCFC Todd Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 Would like Dorrans, but i doubt he'd come to us. If he does have a massive ego then i don't want him anyway, look at Beckford for an example of what happens with big egos
J.Lisemore Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 I agree that maybe we could do with an experienced midfielder, someone in the similar mould of Rob Koren.

A lot of our crowd get on their back and do not give them a chance, booing them virtually straight away and alienating them.

Tielemans63 Posted 5 January 2013 Share Posted 5 January 2013 I say offer them 50p up front and a further 25p after 50 league appearances and another 25p based on international appearances. £1 for a Scottish player is a big risk.

Grewks Posted 5 January 2013 Share Posted 5 January 2013 Yes. A lot of our crowd get on their back and do not give them a chance, booing them virtually straight away and alienating them. Beckford and mills came with egos, and left with egos. Our fans booing them did nothing, in fact, it probably only raised their egos, us booing them and then them looking at their bank account and laughing. shearfox Posted 5 January 2013 Share Posted 5 January 2013 I can see we are living up to our 'big spending' Leicester name £1 for a Scottish player we must be made....
Goober Posted 5 January 2013 Share Posted 5 January 2013 Why do people think Beckford has an ego? Seems a genuinely nice lad from a lot of things I've read.
Vlad the Fox Posted 5 January 2013 Share Posted 5 January 2013 **** it, I'll have him for a pound. got a bit of housework to keep him occupied. I'll offer £2 pounds. My hall and living room need decorating. I'll even throw in a cheese sandwich and cup of tea if he gets the hall stripped by dinner. Plus I'll give hearts another pound if he finishes in a week. Then I will consider loaning him to you, but you must provide the tea.
foxes2011 Posted 5 January 2013 Share Posted 5 January 2013 thats arguably our starting lineup........ i think at the minuite we maybe could do with one more wide man, a centre back, and maybe a defensive midfeilder... also think we need to sell a couple of of fringe strikers or loan them out
