What players do you want?

Nathan Redmond is not a bad shout Birmingham are in financial difficulty so we could get him on the cheap he would get more game time here than a team in the prem.

If Kasper gets injured this season we'd be in trouble. Logan is great in that he knows he's 2nd choice though. Another keeper could cause unrest.

I'd still love us to take a punt on Luke Murphy from Crewe.

Can Saido Berahino from WBA play as a winger at all? Looked fairly sharp at Peterboro until injury - not sure how long he's out for but if he's coming back any time soon he could well be worth a loan.

I really liked that Jedinak from Palace earlier in the season and I still hear rave reviews about him, wouldn't mind him as the defensive mid.

Been doing well at Palace and did well in Turkey prior to that. Not sure we need him but is an ideal player to have protecting your back 4.

How about Tommy Oar would he be decent for us?

Tommy Oarsome!!

Quick winger who is good on the ball, issue is he is slightly built but so not sure he would be suited to the Championship.

If we are after a winger and well we should go for another kiwi in Marko Rojas but not until next season after he has won the title for Melbourne.

Apparently Andros Townsed could leave Spurs, wouldn't mind him.

I'd agree on the Luke Murphy shout, I saw crewe a couple of times last year and I liked the look of him. They've had a great crop come through recently with Powell, Clayton, Westwood, Murphy, Davis and Leitch-Smith

Townsend isn't that great.

would like a left back on loan (only if we send shlupp out on loan) and a winger on loan so we have cover. thats all i think we need.

Come to a decision due to form of players, that we could do with a couple of loan signings perhaps and that's about it.

No permanent signings needed now I think, just one or two loan signings too boost competition and get our depth up.

Maybe one this month, and maybe another one when the loan window opens, if we get injuries or problems in some areas.

I think we have to be careful about signing further players.

At the moment, and arguably all season we have played the best football in the league and IMO been the best side. What we lacked is more firepower up top, which we now have in Wood, and I believe .

We all agreed we needed a new midfielder, but we no longer need to sign one since the emergence of Matt James, as we now have 3 competent midfielders with king and drinky aswell.

Have to say though, have never seen a professional footballer play as badly as Dyer on Saturday - so not to write him off but think we could do with loaning a young winger!

If we extend Keanes loan until the end of the season as well we should be sorted!

I pretty well agree with that.

My only doubt is that our worst failing in the 1st half of the season (apart from coinverting chances) is the inability of our midfield to cope with a spoiling oppo midfield. Whilst the emergence of James has added a new dimension and strength, I don't think we've been tested enough in that area in the last few games to be confident that our midfield will hold up against a sterner test i.e. a team with a better quality midfield than we've played recently,or one which presses us very hard.

I'm fairly certain that he is quite simply not for sale.

Might not be possible, but people on about wingers.

What about Hal Robson-Kanu from Reading on loan.

Been sitting on the bench a lot recently.

If not, then maybe someone like Thomas Eisfeld or Haris Vuckic on loan.

Agreed with this totally. No point upsetting players by just bringing in more for the sake of it. We have cover in every position now so all is good

Not young, and not from Man Utd though right? :P

Very good post, but I agree with Deep Blue, we need to see how this side copes against some better opposition before we can be fully sure. Friday should provide that chance. Lets hope we take it.
