Fox92 Posted 29 January 2013 Posted 29 January 2013 The media do seem happy helping drive out the few characters of the game, and there are few. I don't like Balotelli, but he is a character. There is no doubt he is a good player with huge amounts of talent (on his day), and potential. He is still young with plenty of time to prove doubters wrong, but I don't know if I'd be happy with him around my football club.

Hope the deal breaks tbh Don't worry, if he gets up to any more crazy shenanigans we'll know about it. The media over here will still be obsessed with him. And there are many facebook pages to provide you with updates. The fact is though he's not really done it on the pitch often enough. He doesn't score enough goals, is often just throwing his weight around to no positive effect and gets himself booked/sent off too much. I'm not surprised he's going.

I would have too, unless he is better than Joe Hart then he's going to have a tough time dislodging, Cech or the lad they have out on loan as Athletico.

It's alright you saying that now, but money can soon turn someones head, especially at such a young age. Hopefully he's done it for career reasons and not the fact that he wanted more money. I can't see Courtois still being at Chelsea come the summer unless they make him no.1 to be honest though.

More over that he's gone to another league 1 team & for a reported 400k too, be a good deal imo for Bournemouth;will certainly cement a play off place at least now.
