lestajigs Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Well feel bit better, watched emt worst is gonna be Derbyshire, 2-5cm expected here light and patchy, enough to clear
EastNeukFox Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Well ya bunch of southern softies, this Fox from north of the border will be leaving home in the morning for the 420 odd mile journey to Leicester, via Huntingdon (to collect GoddyFox after school) hopefully in time to enjoy the Boro game. Weather on EMT has just said a paltry 2-5cm is expected in Leicester tomorrow - so get a feckin grip down there!!

Lobsterboyuk Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 I'm just a couple of miles from the KP and it's pretty much stopped now, just a light dusting. So unless it hammers it down tomorrow it should be fine...
Saxondale Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 So unless it hammers it down tomorrow it should be fine... Which is exactly what's forecast to happen.
Lobsterboyuk Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Which is exactly what's forecast to happen. The forecast 2-5cm of "light" snow is not my definition of "hammering it down"
1964FOX Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Latest forecast is for snow to return in the morning around 8ish, the key for me is we need the rush hour to get going before any significant snow comes. Once traffic is on the roads they tend to stay clear so I think it will be absolutely fine. It will be cold miserable and snow will be blowing in our faces but let's get a grip It's not that bad.

jonthefox Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 The forecast 2-5cm of "light" snow is not my definition of "hammering it down" I bet its enough for carnage on the roads tomorrow.

promised land Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 prediction unless the temperature falls to 20 below the infra red heaters in the concourses will not-not be turned on. Do we have any? I can honestly say I have never noticed them, it is always cold down there so maybe that is why I haven't seen them.
