Spiritwalker Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 With Cardiff now 10pts clear, and very likely to strengthen in the next week or so, I think they will take one of the two top spots. Who do you think will be our biggest challenger for the other automatic place? Personally I think its going to be Watford.
Libertine Dream Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 Watford, but I wouldn't say Cardiff are necessarily up yet
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 Hull. Watford look dangerous now, but are just in a purple patch at the moment I think. 1 Cardiff 2 City 3 Hull 4 Boro 5 Palace 6 Brighton Will be top 6 i reckon. Think Derby might make a late charge but just miss out.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 Seems to me there is always a late runner, So Watford for me also
stevelcfc Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 I think it will also be Watford, i do think Derby will be close to the playoffs while palace will start to drop imo.
AyewJoking Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 The team we should be worried about is Leicester City.
Narborough_fox Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 It's ours to throw away, we shouldn't be worried about other teams as long as we can keep our bottle.
Danizen Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 Noone The Cardiff player?Edit - Someone already made that point...
Permafrost Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 Seems to me there is always a late runner, So Watford for me also Hardly a late runner. They could be above us by the time we play our next league game.
Guest ttfn Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 I think it will also be Watford, i do think Derby will be close to the playoffs while palace will start to drop imo. Derby won't finish within 6 points of the play-offs; they're shit.
Guest Bilo Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 Hull and Watford look the most threatening. Of the two, Watford are worrying more at the moment. Middlesbrough move it around nicely but lacked a cutting edge up front from what I saw, I can see them falling away from automatic. They should still make the play-offs though.
ElsieLC Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 The screenplay to this would be a three horse race in the final scenes (sorry, mixed metaphors). Revenge on Cardiff needed to secure one of the places (Waghorn scoring the winner), Hull also running in at the last and final shot of NP with intense look of irony. Will City take it or face a nemesis team in the play offs?
deep blue Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 Watford at the moment; some of their attacking play is really hi-speed. I wonder how they would cope, though, if Vydra were injured or went off the boil for a spell, or if they had a few injuries.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 20 January 2013 Posted 20 January 2013 The team we should be worried about is Leicester City. This. But otherwise, Cardiff obviously, then Watford Hull and Palace
Spiritwalker Posted 20 January 2013 Author Posted 20 January 2013 I was expecting a poll. Disappointed! Sorry.
