His mum lives in Kingswinford, so he wouldn't fly back to New Zealand. In other news, Wood's best mate, who was dropped by WBA at 18, has just been re-employed by WBA as a coach! Twitter is plastered in fans, sucking up to players, Konchesky especially last night, all these 15-17 year old's sucking up to him was embarrassing. Same with Knockaert, about every flaming hour someone tweets him, I love you Anthony, Bonjour Anthony, Don't sell Knockaert. People need to grow up, and stop sucking up to players. Someone apparently told Ian, he then repeated on air, and that is where everyone else has picked it up. I don't know what Chris Wood would fall out with the manager about, he plays every game, when fit, and is well thought of by fans and management. Forget it, he will be playing next Tuesday.
