AKCJ Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21611064 I think he's dug his own grave here. True he was given the poisoned chalice to drink from, but he's not done himself any favours. He'll wake up and realise what a bloody moronic decision he's made. Their fans are just as bad. Chelsea are a mockery of a club now, less than a year after winning the greatest prize in club football.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Serves Chelsea right, pulled the trigger way too early
Jaspa Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Chelsea's campaign has completely capsized, I was tipping them to win the League just before it started and their troubles stemmed from that dodgey Premier match against ManU at Stamford Bridge. Dont know how theyve ended up in this pathetic state, the fans should have backed their team more and there is clearly a communication problem between the hierarchy and mangement, the former being incompetent in sorting problems and the latter being unprofessional and airing shit when hes still an employee / under contract, he should well be sacked. And all this after an away 2-0 win.
foxesfan1989 Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Chelsea have no class, feel sorry for Benitez, he should never have gone there.
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Chelsea have no class, feel sorry for Benitez, he should never have gone there. I don't, he's gone there for a pay day knowing full well his comments about Chelsea would probably never be forgiven by fans or senior players meaning he was never ever going to be able to succesful.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 He said "Dont worry about him" Thanks, I wont.
purpleronnie Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Chelsea have no class, feel sorry for Benitez, he should never have gone there. I was once told by a chelsea fan that chelsea fans do have class thats why the dont sing. True story.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 If only the Russuan dictator would get fed up with his little toy and pull his money out, or the next best thing they fail to finish in the top four.
morris1234 Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Chelsea fans are deluded and want some sort of 'messiah' in charge. I guarantee most would rather see John terry as manager rather than Benitez. They've had managers that have done well and pushed them away, sadly with RDM he was pushed. Benitez has strange methods but there is no doubting he's a world class manager, I hate Liverpool with a passion but when he was there he signed some crap but some utter class in mascherano, xabi alonso, sissoko, Torres, luis Garcia, pepe reina etc etc
cambridgefox Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Bring back "the special one" The "special one" who is given shit loads of money everywhere he goes! There is a huge problem at Chelsea, the owner who has brought so much success has too much power,in the team, quick sackings, but its his club,he can do what he wants.Think he is starting to put off managers who are not after a fast buck. The fans have suddenly tasted success due to RM and now bite the hand that feeds them, through his decisions .A very dangerous game, because he could just say up yours and go ,and that club would go down quicker than an Essex girl on a first date! Very hard/ fine line, yes we want mega rich owners who let you get on with it,but you must also remember as fans, who put you there.works both ways. I hate Chelsea to be honest, but I think I've been fair.

I hate Chelsea to be honest, but I think I've been fair. Don't think he got shit loads of money at Porto (could be wrong)Totally agree about the problems at Chelsea though. Don't really know what route they should take to be honest because I'm not sure what Abrahomivic really wants. Does he want a yes man or somebody to come in and do there own thing? Love to watch Chelsea play with players like Mata, Oscar and Hazard but behind the scenes they are classless!

Think you are right about Porto, perhaps he has earnt the right to go to a big club with lots of money.
AyewJoking Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Yes man? Overpriced big name signings? No problem with being sacked and rewarded a handsome severence? Its got Sven written all over it.
Super_horns Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Let Chelsea fans and players choose the next manager..that way they cannot complain about the owner's choice! I feel sorry for Benitez as he never really had a chance but slagging off the fans in public is never going to work even if has a point.
Guest Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Listened to some Fans spokesman saying the players were at fault but he doesn't blame them only Benitez and Roman is a superhero. Chelsea fans are wankers. Hope they never see another european campaign and return to the second level of football where they belong.
Corky Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Always doomed to fail from the start, the fans didn't want him, only a special run of results was going to make them change slightly and that hasn't happened. They need to get rid of Torres and start again, Demba Ba went there in flying form and is now out of form, their most in-form striker is at WBA and the Lampard contract situation must be a strain for all.
Kitchandro Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Chelsea fans make me sick. The ones on SSN today just make me want to throw my TV out the window.
Uncle Albert Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 It's brilliant we have a thread about well run clubs and then we have on Chelsea FC and their treatment not to just Rafa Benitez but a lot of managers who have been there sine Mourinho. I obviously feel for Rafa and I will always love the man, but he went there for a pay cheque and to get himself a job next season. Chelsea could still be in the Champions League and 3 points behind United and their fans still wouldn't want him. He is all about Liverpool FC, its where he was loved and he loves Liverpool FC. I just hope he is still at Chelsea to bring them to Anfield, that could be a great day.
Fox92 Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 He has a point about the fans though. It isn't his fault Di Matteo got the sack (not expected, don't think Roman ever wanted him deep down). Just don't like Chelsea, the fans or the way the club is run.
Guest MattP Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Rafa should never have been allowed another job after what he did at Inter. Roman has only himself to blame, the man is an idiot.
Leicesterpool Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 There's some twitter rumours going round he's been sacked!

Yeah to be fair Rafa is the only manager in history to go to a Club after their success and not carry it on, how silly of him.
