Bayfox Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 Thought Wes struggled big time coping with their forwards today, didn't think Knocky had as much impact as several others. Lloyd was great in spells though. Wes and keane made a real meal of dealing with ngog. It was like neither knew who should pick him up. He kept making runs inbetween them and no one took charge. He was a handful tonight. Glad when he head butted wes thigh to be honest

Dan Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 Knockaert is Knockaert he keeps the ball very well, just need him to be played more centrally and we will see more out of him. James was very good tonight as well seems to be getting better and better as every games passes. Well, you obviously don't get down to the games much? At times he's brilliant, but more often than not he'll run into trouble trying to be too clever. I don't think he's a bad retainer of the ball when he tries to be, he often gives it away when he tries to create something though which is natural. He's easily our most talented player for me. I can appreciate any player who constantly tries to make things happen and he does just that. In-form Knockaert is un-matched in this league for me.

Crazy. Yeh it's very frustrating when they do this. If you get on it in the morning they'll show them on good morning sports fans up until about midday.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Funniest part of the game was when Nugent came on and started running back towards our goal with the ball and the whole crowd was shouting nooooooo! Priceless. This. I remembered it after the game and couldn't stop laughing!! Bloody well loved tonight. What a terrific Championship match that was. So good to come out on top. Everything about today was brilliant: The weather on the drive up to Leicester and before the game. The perfectly timed trip to Nando's. Seeing Leicester show alot of courage in the face of adversity again when we conceded those goals tonight, especially after the last god knows how many games! We could've let our heads drop but we stuck at it. Good bit of banter with the Bolton fans about which club has f***ed up more. The celebrations for Dyer's goal. The celebrations for Schlupp's goal. All the teams around us dropping points. Lovely clear drive back and all the lights were turning green as I approached them and when stuck behind a lorry on a single carriageway back to Basingstoke, he actually pulled over to let me through! Top bloke. I'm in a bloody good mood. Can't wait for Palace on Saturday.
