Ely fox Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 So people who can't afford season tickets, or can't afford to pay £25-£30 for a ticket per match isn't a 'TRUE' supporter? Stroll on; some people have other commitments and if the club puts on cheap deals to try and get the stadium full, that's good IMO. Better than a bunch of smug ****ers in a half empty ground.
Lasty Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Hopefully our complete scumbag loanees will put you firmly back in your place (7th for those struggling). Having either a complete donkey up front or/and a man who seems to be having a constant giggling orgasm will not stand you in good stead. It will be an enjoyable thrashing I'm sure. Isn't it cute when a 'ickle club has one good year and suddenly their fanbase thinks they're something special? Happened with Blackpool not so long ago. It's a bit like when a teenager gets their first few visits to the pub, then starts banging on about beer and pub crawls like he's Keith Richards' right hand man. Bless. Don't abuse them, its a new life experience for them. Pity the poor souls.

Who are you referring to? Sorry I'd far rather have an ex-con. That's the absolute peak of pride. Twat. Agreed entirely. Some serious growing up needs doing if you ask me, I'm lucky enough to be able to do most games but can fully respect people who can't go because of cost (which is ridiculous and I'll never back down on this) and other commitments. I can't be doing with part-time fairweather fans who only turn up when it's something out the ordinary and bang on like they're some superfan, but I think people's reasons for not going in 95% of cases are perfectly feasible. If we lose, can everyone not boo please? Thanks. Can we have Lionel Messi with that?
CKB Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 So it's Thursday and i'm already shitting myself for the game tomorrow, i'm gonna be a total wreck come match time....
Brooksy Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Watford fans giving it the big un? Fvcking hell. Almost as bad as Bristol City fans saying they were a bigger club during the Maynard saga.
Frankie Z Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 I'm sure there are more Watford fans on here than attend the three-sided shithole they call their home ground. You should be used to enjoyable thrashings at our place. Must be a popular all fans forum if you have 12,000+ Watford fans on here, good job! I'm really looking forward to going to a lifeless oval however, they've done well to make the place so generic for so much money. Don't abuse them, its a new life experience for them. Pity the poor souls. How was League 1 by the way? I think it's nice that such a huge club such as Leicester can now spend millions per year and deliberately lose so as to not get promoted to stick to the 'big but not that big' club feel. Who wants the PL anyway eh!? It's great that there are clubs like Leicester trying to attract fans to the football league, so gracious!

I didn't mind Watford before this lot turned up on here, if things were different (we weren't playing you) then I wouldn't have minded you beating Hull to 2nd, but even they, with a genuine reason for being irritating on here, haven't been as prominent as the Hertfordshire mob with seemingly no axe to grind. Very odd.

It wasn't bad really, it was like playing clubs like Watford every week although the majority had better grounds/more fans.
Lasty Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Get Nigel to lend 'em a player or two and they might calm down.

Very odd. Incredible isn't it. Who'd have thought last summer that Hull City would be the only side of the three going for the autos that isn't 100% unbearable? I can't stand Hull but the Redbirds and this lot are even worse if you ask me.
NewburyFox Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 What has sparked this invasion of Watford morons? Genuinely stumped as there was no arrogance from our lot in this thread, just a couple (myself included) questioning their loan policy and the FA rules. Bizarre.
Super_horns Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Not many post on our own sites apart from WFC forum.com (where most are certainly expecting a tricky match as usual)...probably why
Guest Bilo Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 They've a bag full of spuds on both shoulders these Watford kids. Odd people.
Lasty Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 It's alright. Chelsea are on the telly in a bit. They'll all sod off from here then.

Genuinely stumped as there was no arrogance from our lot in this thread, just a couple (myself included) questioning their loan policy and the FA rules. Bizarre. They've come on here and assumed that we'll all be snobs to them because we're a bigger club. They seem very bitter about that if you ask me. For what it's worth I've decided to be a snob towards their reserves 'club'.
Frankie Z Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 It's alright. Chelsea are on the telly in a bit. They'll all sod off from here then. Yeah thank God, I'm a huge Chelski fan.
Bayfox Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 It's alright. Chelsea are on the telly in a bit. They'll all sod off from here then. True that. Last time i got the train to watford it was a good job we wanted to get off in watforrd. Leaving all the seats for the mass exodus of blue wanting to get on. As for 3 stands. When they had 4 they had to give us the whole of one end to help fill it anyway. All the best for the game to all the normal watford fans out there. To the complete morons on here. Yeah lets slag leicester for having a ground, money, ambition and 1 loanee in the side!!!
leicesterseddon Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 So people who can't afford season tickets, or can't afford to pay £25-£30 for a ticket per match isn't a 'TRUE' supporter? Stroll on; some people have other commitments and if the club puts on cheap deals to try and get the stadium full, that's good IMO. Better than a bunch of smug ****ers in a half empty ground. He was wrong to suggest (or at least, imply) that STHs are 'true' supporters, I'll give you that. But hasn't he got a point though? It's easy to suggest the club should sell tickets at a heavily reduced price to 'get the stadium full' (although, of course, even when we put on the offers, it never is)...but what about the long term? The fact is, the major incentive of a season-ticket is that it offers a discount on the price-per-game if you commit to the whole season up front. If you start putting on more and more ticket offers (and God knows what proportion of games this now applies to, both advertised and non-advertised), then clearly there's less of an incentive to buy one, ergo fewer season tickets sold, and reduced pre-season income for the club. This isn't about dividing the fanbase into STHs and non-STHs. Obviously not everyone can or even wants to buy a season ticket for a football club - it's surely a matter of ensuring that those who can/do want to actually get a fair representation of the product they thought they were buying?
Bilbo Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 I can't believe how many people are attempting to reply to these tw***. Just ignore them and they look like the crying kid in the corner trying to get attention.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 I'm loving the bravado from the Udinese fans. Deep down we all know they will be terrified meeting us in a 2 legged play off semi! Let's hope this transpires and we will then truly see!
Leicester_Numan Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 This thread will be in need of some fly spray by tomorrow. Super_Horns seems ok so I'll issue them with a gas mask
glen parva fox Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Most of them are loanee's glory boys from serie A or couldn't they get in their team, so it's Udinese reserves
Super_horns Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Most of them are loanee's glory boys from serie A or couldn't they get in their team, so it's Udinese reserves Don't forget Granada...2 will probably be playing from them. The 2 wing backs which might be good news for you in a sense as I am not sure they are good defensive wise. I don't see a lot of change of from last week's team but Zola might decide to bring the (out of form) Vydra back for Forestieri (who is the only loan player we've signed ATM..)
Rusko187 Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 I wish to put on record that I have been to Watford and can categorically confirm it IS a sh1t hole and I wanted to go home!
