Guest Col city fan Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Just watched the Football League Show. I've rated Albert Adomah since I saw him against us last season. He looks a good player and I expect Middlesborough to really improve if they make the right appointment.
Guest Bilo Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 what's it like always being the bridesmaid? Better than always being the fat bird crying and eating pork pies in the corner.

Master Fox Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 That was fantastic. Last week Harry got it in the chops, now this!
Bert Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 The bloke with the cap and glasses on. The blondie with the Burnley top on. The woman that's directly behind Barton with the blondish hair. The young kid pointing at the front. lol lol
Fox92 Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 I got to uni with the lad in the cream/gold-like jacket towards the right of the photo. Not a massive Barton fan myself, but I don't really encourage this sort of stuff.

GingerrrFox Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Anyone laughing at Barton getting hit with a bottle is a BinHead. Be different if some Forest fan dashed a bottle at King though?

Oh dear, here come the morale high ground takers. Everything about football is ridiculous. Don't take it so seriously. Joey will be fine xx.
lgfualol Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Anyone laughing at Barton getting hit with a bottle is a BinHead. Be different if some Forest fan dashed a bottle at King though? Well King hasn't got a violent past like Barton. so yea, a bit different.
sylofox Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Shut up. It's just a coke bottle, and Joey Barton is a massive c# nt, and this makes it funny. No excuse whoever it is. Totaly out of order. Glad to see he did not make a meal of it and hit the deck like he had been shot.
ScouseFox Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Fryatt's was nowhere near as good as Pedersen's in the same matchm Fryatt's volley was technically much better. Hitting a ball that's sat up nicely for you to volley is something most people who play football could do, and Pedersen did well. Hitting a volley when the spinning ball has dropped from a height over your shoulder and catching it sweetly and watching it fly into the top of the net is much, much tougher. Both cracking goals mind, and not ones you'd expect to see in a Barnsley/Sheff Wed match .
The Year Of The Fox Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 I disagree, in my experience hitting a spinning ball limits how much youre able to sky it! I think its much harder to control a volley that's sat easily to hit. That's what I think anyway Fryatt scored a similar goal for us in the Cardiff away playoff (similar technique)
ScouseFox Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Each to their own. You can relate it all nicely to a game of heads an volleys though. No self setties because everyone knows if you tee yourself up you can twat it in the top bin every time if you're any good and the game would be over pretty quick. Smashing one out the sky more often than not ends up with the volleyer doing a few kilometre round run to get the ball back because it's gone so high and so wide.

Corky Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 If he was our manager Dougie Freedman would really annoy me for some reason. His post-match mantra seems to be "if we win one, the rest will follow" or "the lads tried hard". Maybe I'm doing him a disservice but going on that and his results so far he's doing an awful job and doesn't seem to realise it.

ADK Posted 28 October 2013 Author Posted 28 October 2013 I think Bolton have been a little unfortunate.
