Bob Weasel Fox Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 We tried to sell him but he disappeared during talks . . . . . .
Danizen Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 There's no smoke without fire. That doesn't apply to football rumours. News sites and papers constantly make up bullshit to get clicks/views/sales. 90% of the time, there is smoke without fire.
Babylon Posted 21 June 2013 Posted 21 June 2013 We tried to sell him but he disappeared during talks . . . . . . Took me a minute, but I got there in the end!!
SmithyFox12 Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 spoke to Kingy at the cricket tonight and asked him if he was leaving at all during the summer.... the first thing he did was laugh, then say, "no, of course not pal".

Close the thread then. Like he's going to say to someone "yeah I'm hopefully going to get a move away this summer"

SmithyFox12 Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Close the thread then. Like he's going to say to someone "yeah I'm hopefully going to get a move away this summer" Waghorn was asked exactly the same question by someone else and he ignored it..
fleckneymike Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Waghorn was asked exactly the same question by someone else and he ignored it.. If it was Waghorn it's more likely that he 'missed' it
The Horse's Mouth Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Why do people say this? Here's something for you, Mancini is going to be the next Leicester manager - there's your smoke. Is there any fire? Of course not because I made it up just as anyone on twitter is able to do when they start a rumour. Don't assume that there's substance to every transfer rumour you here.
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 September 2013 Posted 7 September 2013 King won't leave. He is a Leicester lad, he has no intentions of leaving i'm sure, especially in a sideways move. Could understand a top end prem team, but the teams that have been mentioned im not worried about. Andy King joined our academy when he was 16/17? I don't think he's a 'Leicester lad'?
Bayfox Posted 7 September 2013 Posted 7 September 2013 Andy King joined our academy when he was 16/17? I don't think he's a 'Leicester lad'? Born in barnstaple. Grew up in reading from age of about 5. Was let go by chelsea at 14 joined us. So no not a leicester lad. But clearly he enjoys playing for us. Was buzzing after the fword game.
ealingfox Posted 7 September 2013 Posted 7 September 2013 kingy.png Ah, possibly the greatest Welsh footballer of all time, and Gareth Bale's there too.

But clearly he enjoys playing for us. Was buzzing after the fword game. Been with us for a decade, and we were the club to give him his big break. Through all the turmoil, he's been a steady figure, and he's pretty much been a constant in the matchday squad. Still always seems enthusiastic about the club and happy to be playing for us in all his interviews, too. He may not be a leicester lad by birth, but I'd be damn surprised if he hasn't become one in his time here.

Jimmy Posted 7 September 2013 Posted 7 September 2013 Just like Walsh and Izzet. Both still live here and love the club Birch as well clearly loves the club and lives in the area, even if he wasn't employed by the club I bet he'd still be supporting Leicester
Bayfox Posted 7 September 2013 Posted 7 September 2013 Birch as well clearly loves the club and lives in the area, even if he wasn't employed by the club I bet he'd still be supporting Leicester Nah he just loves the attention, the ladies and the woodies. And on a good night he gets all 3!!
Bert Posted 7 September 2013 Posted 7 September 2013 Andy King joined our academy when he was 16/17? I don't think he's a 'Leicester lad'? Not a Leicester lad, but I can guarantee you that he's a Leicester fan and when he finishes his career he will be as well. Know plenty of people that aren't from Leicester but that doesn't mean they can't be fans.

Sure he'll be very fond of Leicester for the rest of his life though.

You only have to look at past players of ours to show that just because he spend a lot of time here does not mean he will follow us after he hangs up his boots. Look at grayson for example, over 200 games for us, but a self proclaimed leeds fan.
