MPH Posted 21 May 2013 Posted 21 May 2013 So maybe its a case of using Pearson to offload a few big earners to make us a more attractive opposition for an incoming manager?
Babylon Posted 21 May 2013 Posted 21 May 2013 So not the Club hierarchy then? Try finding the article.
foxer Posted 21 May 2013 Posted 21 May 2013 So maybe its a case of using Pearson to offload a few big earners to make us a more attractive opposition for an incoming manager? I've had a feeling they might be using him for this and bringing in a couple more gems before getting rid at the end of the summer. Would be incredibly harsh on big Nige!

Would be incredibly harsh on big Nige! I guess it would be possible but most managers would like to bring in their own players...
foxer Posted 21 May 2013 Posted 21 May 2013 I guess it would be possible but most managers would like to bring in their own players... Sure but they probably wouldn't mind another Knockeart (faults aside) and big Wes in their team! Either way I can't see them doing it and hope that they don't.

Would be incredibly harsh on big Nige! A ridiculous thing to suggest. Name me one occasion when this has happened in the past?
flowwolf Posted 21 May 2013 Posted 21 May 2013 As opposed to the array of drums you, seenitall, DT, smudger etc have been banging eh? Righto. Just trying to keep a bit of balance that's all.
bald reynard Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 And we will have a new Manager. It's just a matter of time. No Manager who is half decent is going to agree to come to us whilst jobs such as Wigan (potentially) Stoke, Everton are vacant. The merry go round will start soon and there's plenty of substance to the Daily Mail story around us and Lennon Yeah. Got to say that I've a feeling (see my thread on 'Such silence at the KP ?!'), that there could well be things happening in a few weeks - but for now, everyone (including our owners) is waiting for the 'Premier Managerial merry-go-round' to end.

Yeah, I'm sure they're holding off sacking Pearson and wasting half the summer on the off-chance that someone decent is available later.
sov968-Foreverblue Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Next week Neil Lennon will be confirmed as new manager of LCFC. I am not sure he is the right appointment but you heard it here first.
Happy Fox Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Next week Neil Lennon will be confirmed as new manager of LCFC. I am not sure he is the right appointment but you heard it here first. Find it hard to believe but we will see what happens.
AnotherShitSeason Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Just that pesky Scottish Cup Final to get out the way. Hope to god this happens.
ealingfox Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Next week Neil Lennon will be confirmed as new manager of LCFC. I am not sure he is the right appointment but you heard it here first. Can you promise never to post again when it turns out to be bullplop? And in return I promise to engineer a reputation for you as the most ITK on FoxesTalk if it isn't.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Next week Neil Lennon will be confirmed as new manager of LCFC. I am not sure he is the right appointment but you heard it here first. It would help a lot if NFP was sacked first or is that Lennons first job ?
indierich06 Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Next week Neil Lennon will be confirmed as new manager of LCFC. I am not sure he is the right appointment but you heard it here first. Who told you this then? Your gay mate who's engaged to a former LCFC player?
Outfox the Fox Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 I'm not sure the 'bad news coming out of the club' story has got much creditability - there seems to be a lot of 'holes' in the logic of sending someone to Thailand with financial info. What is intriguing (if that story is dodgy and the club DO have money to spend), is whether the Lennon speculation will hot up again, after the Scottish Cup Final this weekend. The 'Lennon speculation' has started early. You'll see some 'itk guy' thinks he'll be announced at City next week, after the Scottish Final. Believe it if you will; but, of course I did hear that Lennon was talking to the Thais a week or two ago and he was at the Watford game.
Webbo Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Next week Neil Lennon will be confirmed as new manager of LCFC. I am not sure he is the right appointment but you heard it here first. Sniff, sniff. What's that smell?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Sex PantherOur new manager is called Sex Panther?
The God Emperor Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Our new manager is called Sex Panther? yep, you heard it here first. Neil Warnock wants to change his image so thats the new moniker he is going by.
mkaiser1 Posted 23 May 2013 Posted 23 May 2013 There's a lot of people been concerned about the lack of comment coming from City in relation to NP and who will be managing LCFC next season. Some believe that the club do not need to issue a statement to say nothing has changed, others do. Myself, I am just concerned that other clubs are making signings and changes already and I do not want us to lose out. I do however wonder if the LCFC owner know who they want to manage the club next season and also know that it isn't NP. The reason that they haven't done anything about it publicly though could be that the man they want still has a cup final to manage in Scotland? I wonder if a deal has even already been done behind the scenes? Seeing Neil Lennon at the Watford game would surely mean something? I'm not saying whether I do/don't want Pearson nor am I saying that I do/don't want Lennon. I will continue to support my football club regardless - as will we all will. I am just wondering, and think that this could makes sense.
Father Ted Posted 23 May 2013 Posted 23 May 2013 OH FOR FVCKS SAKE, PEARSON IS GOING NOWHERE, LIVE WITH IT AND MOVE ON.

The merry go round will start soon and there's plenty of substance to the Daily Mail story around us and Lennon 48 hours to the Scottish Cup Final ! I wonder which result is the best, for a possible Lennon move to City - Hibs or Celtic to win (or it won't make a scrap of difference) ?! Of course, 2 days is long enough for Lennon to realise he'd be mad to forsake Champions League matches against the likes of Man U, Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern Munich & Dortmund, for games against Doncaster, Yeovil & Bournemouth !
