DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 24 May 2013 Posted 24 May 2013 Off to Twickenham again tomorrow, and getting excited and nervous. Will start my day at the Orange Tree in Richmond, and finally end up at The Cabbage Patch, in Twickenham. After a few bevvies I should be ok to enjoy the game against our arch rivals Northampton. This is Tigers ninth year on the trot at the final, and my eighth. The last two seasons we lost, but I hope for better things tomorrow. May the "Gods" be with us lads."COME ON YOU TIGERS"!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 May 2013 Posted 24 May 2013 Two of the 3 times I've seen seen Tigers at Twickenham were possibly the worst games of rugby I've ever seen (one was the 10-6 kick-fest loss to Bath in the JP Cup - 1989.) Hope for a better game than that tomorrow.
peach0000 Posted 24 May 2013 Posted 24 May 2013 Im not a fan of rugby but always want the Tigers to do well, its a matter of pride for the city having such a successful rugby team.
Fox in the North Posted 25 May 2013 Posted 25 May 2013 Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigers! Lets go and batter them!
LCFC FOX Posted 25 May 2013 Posted 25 May 2013 Why would you want your own city to lose? I will always want City, Tigers, Riders and even the county to win even if I don't like the sport
leicsmac Posted 25 May 2013 Posted 25 May 2013 The Manchester United of the rugby world. They may not win the title every year, but they're always near the top. 9 consecutive finals is an amazing feat. And as others have said, it's nice to have one the best clubs at any big sport in our city. Good luck Tigers!
Guest Bilo Posted 25 May 2013 Posted 25 May 2013 I don't understand the mentality of wanting a team from your city to lose. Sure Tigers have some arrogant and snobbish fans, met a few myself, but they also have some thoroughly decent fans who are very much salt-of-the-earth types. Have a bit of civic pride ladies and gents.
Finnegan Posted 25 May 2013 Posted 25 May 2013 Lawes is such a ****ing awful rugby player. Literally good at one thing only.
