StanSP Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 Surprised Toure didn't get done and Bellamy did. Both had some vigour and nastiness about it. Who are the 3 ex-referees on the judging panel who decide these sanctions (or lack of)? And which bell didn't agree with the other 1 or 2?

Who are the 3 ex-referees on the judging panel who decide these sanctions (or lack of)? And which bell didn't agree with the other 1 or 2? Smacks of the big club getting the decisions over the smaller one. I remember when Shearer got away with kicking one of your players whilst England captain. You do wonder what pressure these people come under...
Father Ted Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 Yaya's is debatable but nobody can deny that Bellamy deserves a 3 match ban for that act of cowardness.
Jimothy Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 Can't believe Leicesterpool has been informed by two poster he was talking bull about Everton being top six before Moyes, and he hasn't commented or accepted the correction. It's one thing having an opinion, but stating complete bullshit as fact is something else, especially when I'm sure I've read the guy wants be a sports journalist.......in fact he'd probably fit right it. Probably shouldn't wind me up as much as it does. Rant over.
Jimothy Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 What did Bellamy do? Smashed his arm into De Guzman's ear as he ran past him.
Dan Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Can see Moyes going at this rate. He's going from bad to worse.
whitlock Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Can see Moyes going at this rate. He's going from bad to worse. Like my Man United 'supporter' mate keeps telling me is that Moyes will definitely be given time. So what? Football is a business and especially a global company like Man United. If United don't finish with some European football next year, what will the attraction for top players to go there? Liverpool/Spurs would be more attractive move than United. Which top foreign player would want to come and play for a team not in Europe and David Moyes as the manager. Would foreign players even know who David Moyes is? You can give him all the time in the world but United could fall further down the league and then they definitely would not be an attractive club for any managers/players. I personally love it, hilarious listening to all these 'United' fans making up excuses. They have such a poor squad.

I personally love it, hilarious listening to all these 'United' fans making up excuses. They have such a poor squad. They'll still be an attractive club for a couple of years but I agree on the whole. I think people who've suggested they sign Hummels are having a laugh though. The only chance he's going there is if they sack Moyes and bring in Klopp should he get tired of Dortmund (which as someone mentioned earlier, is possible). I think Moyes has been unlucky but he’s made so many cock ups now that it’s reached the point where I think letting him go might be the answer. The cynical side in me thinks Ferguson resigned because he saw something like this coming, they won an awful Premier League last year where the majority of the top sides (Man Utd included) weren’t at their best. A lot of the others have stepped up whilst Man Utd have actually regressed. I feel for him in a way with some of the individual errors (awful penalties and De Gea’s cock up v Sunderland for example) but he hasn’t helped himself. He’s made two big money signings – one of them Fellaini who simply doesn’t fit there, and the other Mata who, whilst he’s a fantastic player, is he really what they needed? He’s the right player at the wrong time. The defence and midfield should’ve been their priority – he’s done nothing to strengthen either (Mata’s position was covered by Rooney who is easily good enough). The predictability of their football, their inability to beat an absolutely terrible Fulham side who’ve shipped six at Hull, four at an under-strength Leicester, four at home to Sunderland and have just been knocked out the FA Cup at home to a struggling League One side – is absolutely unacceptable. The bloke looks ridiculously stressed and I’m beginning to wonder if the best thing for everyone is to move on. I’m all for giving managers time but he’s barely even shown signs that he’ll be any good for Man Utd. He’s got one hell of a job on his hands because so far he’s looked totally out of his depth.
Jimothy Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 And De Guzman then went off. Can remember when Rooney elbowed James McCarthy off the ball, FA took no action if I recall correctly. Yeah that's right. They said the ref (Clattenberg) had seen it. If he'd seen it he'd have sent Rooney off. Proper dodgy decision all round that one.
Leicesterpool Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 This is a bit of topic but just out of interest I went on the Man City bluemoon forum for a laugh, and I had a look at one of there threads about there trip to Barcelona away and complicated it is to get tickets and that. £77 for a match ticket! got help us if Leicester ever got into europe!

Nalis Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Evening Standard has the remaining fixtures for the relegation candidates, Norwich's last 4 games are ****ing horrid!
Leicesterpool Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Evening Standard has the remaining fixtures for the relegation candidates, Norwich's last 4 games are ****ing horrid! Some of the Norwich fans have been calling for Hughton to go but to be honest what do they expect? They've got one of the smallest budgets in the premier league.
MC Prussian Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 We have a goal! Ivanovic makes it 1-0 Chelsea at West Brom.
Nalis Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Some of the Norwich fans have been calling for Hughton to go but to be honest what do they expect? They've got one of the smallest budgets in the premier league. Can't stand that mentality, they were League 1 team only a few seasons ago ffs. Sad thing is if we are in Norwich's position with NP, no doubt some fans would call for his head...
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Great result again for West Ham, dumped out of both cups and certs for relegation about 3 weeks ago, now sitting 10th.
Fox92 Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Is that three clean sheets as well now for West Ham? Hope they survive, I do like West Ham, but it just shows how a win can push you forward.
Manwell Pablo Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Is that three clean sheets as well now for West Ham? Hope they survive, I do like West Ham, but it just shows how a win can push you forward. Nope, it's four.
NewburyFox Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Some of the Norwich fans have been calling for Hughton to go but to be honest what do they expect? They've got one of the smallest budgets in the premier league. Expectation has gone up there as they spent a lot of money (around £25-30m) in the summer and its not really paid off. Van Wolfswinkel can barely hit the target let alone score and Hooper seems to have got the vast majority of his goals in one short burst. They spent a fair wedge on Fer too, not really sure how he's done. They probably should be doing better than they are.
Dan Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 The Premier League is spiraling out of control and it's going to reach the point in a few years where fans will be saying "we've spent £25mil this summer, the manager has got to go" despite them being one of the lowest spenders. The disparity compared to the other leagues in Europe regarding the amount of money spent is completely killing the game.
One Legged Beaver Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 I've just seen that Southampton are now 2 points below United. It's not inconceivable that they could actually finish above them which would be magnificently wonderful
Kitchandro Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 I've just seen that Southampton are now 2 points below United. It's not inconceivable that they could actually finish above them which would be magnificently wonderful What strike's me about that is people started to suggest Pochettino might be in trouble a while back for winning 1 in 9 or something. It just shows you that these runs happen to most clubs. That sort of statistic gets some managers sacked.
