MC Prussian Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 What a finish at Fulham. Newcastle steamrolled by a rampant Tottenham side. Not a bad gameweek for my Fantasy PL team. At first, I thought I was in for a pretty bad overall result. Coleman not playing, Touré not playing and both Terry and Shelvey out injured. Plus, Hazard not garning enough points as my captain. Enter Chico Flores, José Fonte and Daniel Sturridge. Thank you. Arsenal keeping a clean sheet helps, too.
ScouseFox Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 So since Newcastle sold Cabaye and replaced him with nobody... Sunderland (H) 0-3 Chelsea (A) 3-0 Spurs (H) 0-4 Nice stuff.
AKCJ Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Gerrard's pass to feed Sturridge was just amazing.
Bert Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Could watch that pass all day long. Absolutely exquisite. It was bob on perfect. Liverpool are doing bits at the minute and that's from someone that's never been too keen on them. Edit - Love how Kolo just carried on after barging Dowd over.
ScouseFox Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Moyes has played 49 games away to the "traditional" big 4 (Liverpool, United, Arsenal & Chelsea) and won 0. That is incredibly bad. Even bad teams would've fluked a win or two in there. Especially seen as they've been at Everton (usually top 6 or so) and now United (Champions last year). For instance when we were a decent top half team at best we won at most the big 4. Gotta change that sometime soon if he wants to keep his job, you'd think.

StanSP Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Absolute class from Everton. Wonder how many other clubs would do that.
Bert Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Absolute class from Everton. Wonder how many other clubs would do that. You would suspect or at least like to think quite a few. But Everton are good fan engagement wise.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Has anyone heard about the Malaysian Everton fan who after 30 years decided it was time to go and see them live last night? The club gave him a tour of the ground and introduced him to martinez

Nalis Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Postponement aside, the bloke's supported Everton for 30 years and of all the games he could have gone to in that time, the FIRST GAME he decides to go to is at home against Crystal Palace on a Wednesday night in February!!!

Yeah I was thinking that. Fair play to Everton though, great gesture. I've always liked Everton, and most football fans I know don't really have a hatred towards Everton. Nice well run club.

Never thought about it but your right, they are not hated by many, and they also have a manager who is well liked. The only time I disliked them was when Pooley threw them the ball back for a free kick when he was well out of his goal, Anders Limpar promptly chipped the ball back over Pooles head for a goal.

Booing Muzzy Izzet in 2000 and making cut-throat gestures every time he got the ball wasn't particularly classy either.
Master Fox Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Arsene Wenger is a 'specialist in failure' - Jose Mourinho http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/2618845 Mourinho is the greatest person in football, probably of all time. I absolutely love him. Closely followed by Nige, for different reasons.

Nalis Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 Don't like Jose personally but you can't fault him for being entertaining.
