Corky Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Why didn't Taylor hold his side like he normally does when he handballs or swipes players over the head?
Fox92 Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Steven Taylor. What the **** are you doing! Maybe should have been a pen for handball about 1 minute earlier as well!
AKCJ Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Neville on RVP: 'He's like a burglar in your house, you don't know where he is' Carra: 'You'd be under the bed' GN: 'You'd be the burglar' lol

Guest MattP Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 City look excellent. Really did the business in the summer. Super manager in charge as well.
StanSP Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Carragher's voice is going to annoy the hell out of me this season. What he's saying is all true, but I'm already getting sick and tired of his squealy voice.

What he's saying is all true, but I'm already getting sick and tired of his squealy voice. Some just needs to tell him to CALM DOWN CALM DOWN! He seems to get himself in an outrage about very small things and it just makes his voice go squeaky. Man City look good but the opposition are utter dog turd. Newcastle don't seem to have addressed any of their problems from last season and they are going to be relying on three teams being worse than they are.
Guest shearfox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 I hate Tim Krul!!! I need Dzeko to score you b******
AjcW Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Wow Newcastle really are shitWhen you spend two weeks preparing for a game with your best player at the forefront and with a completely different tactic only for him to then be taken out of the team four hours before kick off resulting in you changing to 4-4-2, you're probably going to struggle a tad!! Losing your creative winger to a hamstring and your centre back to a moment of stupidity doesn't exactly help either. But I think saying they're shit might be a slight over reaction after 90 minutes.
Leicesterpool Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 It would be funny if Arsenal do sign a player but it turns out to be a goalkeeper

Sorry Alan, they were shit last year and they still are.

Think you're over selling Cabaye and Gutierez's influence to be honest. Cabaye has wanted out for ages, and was woeful for the second half of last season. In fact the same mate who wants £25m for him now, spent most of the last 6 months moaning about him. Everytime I watched Newcastle, he might as well have not played. Gutierez's legs have gone, he's not a creative winger anymore, he's been shifted to central midfield. And finally, what game were you watching? They were so forced to play 442 because of Cabaye not playing that they actually played 433! They are better than last night, but they were shit last night and Cabaye can't really be used as an excuse, at least by not playing he allowed them to start with 11 men, which is more that last season, it was like playing with 10.
Fox92 Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 It's only one game but City do look like the best so far. Manchester United v Chelsea will be interesting next week.

The Year Of The Fox Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 Man u will win the title. Can't see how they wont
Jimothy Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 Man u will win the title. Can't see how they wont By another team finishing above them
Darkon84 Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 Carragher's voice is going to annoy the hell out of me this season. What he's saying is all true, but I'm already getting sick and tired of his squealy voice. THIS! Plus he needs to try and be more impartial. I watched some of the build up and all he could do, is talk about Liverpool whilst saying 'we' or 'us' all the time. On the other side of the table, Neville's description of Van Persie's movement being like 'a burglar in the house, but you don't know what room he is in', was brilliant

Samilktray Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 Willian in London for Spurs medical. Twitter rumour.
Darkon84 Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 Then he said that it was probably Carragher who was the burglar. lol Only because Carra said Neville would be hiding under the bed! Fair play to them, both had a laugh out of it
Dan Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 The three main contenders all start very strongly then. Missed last nights game but I can honestly see Newcastle going down. The club is an absolute mess, Mike Ashley's one of the worst owners in the country for me. Hull City may be in luck with Newcastle - is history going to repeat itself?
