21st Century Fox Posted 18 August 2013 Posted 18 August 2013 Southampton have signed Pablo Osvaldo for £15 million. Didn't know they had so much money to spend. I feel sick. I ****ing hate Southampton. They must be challenging for a Europa League spot with the squad they have now.
ScouseFox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Moyes has offered a combined £28 million for Baines and Fellaini. Not enough? Are they good enough for united anyway? Is he really gonna not sign anyone all summer after trying to sign everyone he has?
Corky Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 I feel sick. I ****ing hate Southampton. They must be challenging for a Europa League spot with the squad they have now. It's amazing how football changes over the years. When I was growing up Southampton were Premier League regulars while Portsmouth struggled in Division One, then Portsmouth won the cup and were in the top half of the Premier League, spending millions as Southampton went down two divisions in financial turmoil. Now Southampton spending millions and three divisions above Portsmouth, who have little money to spend.

Is he really gonna not sign anyone all summer after trying to sign everyone he has? £28 million is an insult, they are both worth £20 million in my opinion, Fellaini's release clause expired anyway, so Everton can let him go for any amount now. If they are both sold though, it will be hard for Everton to replace Baines, and I don't think Man Utd need another left back just yet. Man Utd need another midfielder though hence why they kept going for Fabregas, now they will probably turn to Fellaini. Everton can replace Fellaini though, they can easily get in two midfielders in to replace him with the money they will get, James McCarthy and Gareth Barry both linked.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 This is why our games aren't broadcast so regularly, if at all, in Thailand any more. The Thai people probably haven't even heard of Yeovil and Barnsley, let alone harbour a burning desire to see Leicester play against them. All the Thais I spoke to hadn't even heard of Leicester City.
Jimothy Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Arsenal have bid £12m for Cabaye. Not sure why, surely they have enough of that type of midfielder. They need a tough tackling ball winner, plus a top striker. My Newcastle supporting mate thinks they should try and get £25m for him. I know Arsenal are in a desperate situation, and can be screwed over in the market right now, but I still that's pushing it for Cabaye.
Jimothy Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 He's sent me a copy of a tweet saying Newcastle want £30m for Cabaye! Someone's smoking something funny if they think he's worth anywhere near that no matter how desperate Arsenal are.

Samilktray Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Alongside Steven Gerrard, Scott Parker is 1 of our most overrated midfielders ever.
ScouseFox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Yeah don't get the Parker fuss and never really have. Fulham is about his level to be fair, mid/lower Prem scrapper, decent in the tackle, puts himself about but lacks any real quality at all.
Fox92 Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Alongside Steven Gerrard, Scott Parker is 1 of our most overrated midfielders ever. I'm not getting into this debate again. I agree with Parker. Gerrard isn't overrated. You're talking about a player that was considered the best midfielder in the World around the 05/06/07 time, the only player that has scored in every domestic cup final. I take it you don't like Gerrard, fair play, opinion etc. I don't like Beckham, I think he is very overrated but that's my opinion.

Fox in the North Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 All three of mine (Bony, Van Persie (captain) and RVW all scored too Se here except just swap bony for lambert happy days!
Guest shearfox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Had lukaku in my team thought he was going to be played... put him in and removed benteke in the 11th hour and benched Coleman... rubbish... Still I have Dzeko, a hat trick from him will make me happy...
