Cannot believe no one has brought in Carlton Cole yet, would be a great signing at this level. Agreed. Great target man at this level, impressed me twice the other season when we played West Ham. Strong, ability to hold up the ball, decent in the air and will score a few goals. Wages is just the issue I guess.

Either played out of position,5 mins cameo or been outstanding when he's had a run of games. and wood scored 20 goals and looks like a natural goalscorer when played to feet.

On another note, shame we never saw Woody upfront with Becks as I feel that partnership could have worked.. Woody would have been our equivalent of Becchio - who Becks thrived off

He really is like a kid playing Football Manager (he's right about one thing, he definitely isn't a fackin' wheeler dealer). I'm willing to bet he hadn't even heard of Charlie Austin before now. He's just seen the scoring charts from last season. I hope there isn't people out there who still rate him.

If he did manage to pull hooper, Austin and keep Remy that would be a unbelievable championship strike force

Suprised Forest have gone for him, but they'd probably get him cheaper than they would Morgan. Forest also looking to sign Jamie Mackie. Then again, that's all it takes to get out this division.
