I meant technically. I agree Gallagher is technically gifted but he's proof to me that technique alone isn't enough. Some of the things Knockaert does have been bettered by simply no one since I've been going down.

He does give the ball away more but he tries more. The same way I always used to compare Wellens & King. Wellens would try more defence splitting passes whilst King would play safe.

The technical side is Gally's strongest point of his game. Where for me, the flair side of Knockaert is his.

I must have watched a different Wellens, not saying he didnt make defence splitting passes but he is more guilty than anyone for playing the safe sidewards option

I still class a lot of things such as dribbling under technical. I've always classed technical as pretty much ability with the ball and I'd say Knockaert has more than Gallagher.

We've got a lot of technically gifted players at Leicester though. More than most sides in this league.

He definitely tried more killer passes than King when they were both in the team, that's for sure.

It's not necessarily a bad thing. In-fact I'd say one being sensible and one being more creative is a very decent balance.

I know you didn't quite my original post but I did say arguably he was our best technical player and we're having a "argue" (as such) about it.

Never claimed he was. People see the game differently, not gonna slag people off for their opinion.

Nothing against that. But who would you personally say is a more technical player of the two?

There's pro and cons for both. I think I might see "technical" a bit different to everyone else.

Set pieces, passing and ball retention Gally beats Knocky but Knocky has the better touch, control of the ball as well at his feet.

Can't disagree with any of that to be fair although not totally sure about passing.

I don't like Gally's floaty corners though, it's a defenders dream when you haven't got a striker who 'attacks' the ball in the air.

Agreed!

That's why I've been impressed with James' corners recently. He should take them. He does drill them, and it's no coincidence we scored from a couple of them.

Oh suck my cock Gally, I love you Gally, I want to see you play for Leicester again Gally, you deserve to start.

To those 14-17 year olds which they mostly are, please do twitter a favour and fook off.

Much love

Halle - fooking - lujah!

Some absolutely embarrassing bell ends on Twitter that's for sure.

It's going to be quiet for a long time then. Only Wellens seems to be attracting interest and I jmagine for him to go to Doncaster we'll either have to pay a chunk of his wages for the next year or pay his contract off altogether.

He wants his contract paying off, I don't think the club want to though

This is why the decision to not sell Kasper is all the more stupid! We could quite easily miss out on some of our targets if we have to release some income before we can buy. £2 million for Kasper and the years wages is nearly £3 million saved I suspect, plus we'd have got our centre half to play alongside Wes. That £2 million could be used to bring in a new GK, central midfielder and a winger. Then the pressures off and we can dispose of Wellens, SSL, Danns, Beckford, Drinkwater, Gallagher etc.

I know it doesn't exactly work like that, but there's no sense in keeping Schmeichel for me.

I'm with the Nature Boy above.

What happens if we can't shift Waghorn Drinkwater Beckford Danns Gallagher Wellens or St Ledger? And therefore can't strengthen.

It going to be a long long season if so.

If they have Gallaghers attitude then there's no chance. :(

Wouldn't be surprised if we just signed a couple of loans and went with most of the current squad. Couple of decent loanees in key positions and we'll still have a decent side.

We would still fail FFP

How do you know?

Waghorn's out of contract isn't he? So his wage will be off the wage bill when it expires

We need to get rid of far more than just Waghorn, so many players on massively overpaid contracts, Gallagher proved last night he's getting a ridiculous amount of money with two years left and he's not even playing games

The Waghorn quote wasn't to do with me asking you about FFP it was more a general question as he keeps getting included in the list of players who can leave. Why's that? Compared to most of us they are all on ridiculous amounts of money, so it doesn't prove he's a high earner in the squad. Don't go stating things that you really know nothing about

I believe the Merc stated he was out of contract, but that it was an error repeated several times. As said above I think he has a year left.
