alanf0x Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 @alan9young: Good luck lad @Gally_7 I'll miss you in the commentary box!!...and maybe on the pitch as well ..You'll be fine son....I'm sure!!
GingerrrFox Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 I thought giving remarks back and forth is 'banter'? So If I told you to die of a terminal illness it would be alright if I didn't say ahh it was just banter?? No what have you described is what scared ***** do when they think I might get beat up if I don't back down and say it was "banter". Weak people now use the word banter as a thin veil to try and get away with snidey remarks. "Banter" originally was a bit of jesting between mates "Danny's as good as my bird at kick ups". Now weak people with no backbone use it as an excuse to get away with acting like a ****.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Eh? Just wondered if Gally is staying or going. Those on Bentleys say he has gone
Guest Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Just wondered if Gally is staying or going. Those on Bentleys say he has gone Ah right. Well judging by his comments he'll be here for a while. Not seen any comments from youngy myself but can't bring myself to head over to Bentley's
yorkie1999 Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Knockaert surely is, Gallagher is deadwood.. Bet he wouldn't have missed that penalty.
Guest ttfn Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Bet he wouldn't have missed that penalty. Bet he wouldn't have beaten three players in the run to win that penalty.
Bert Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Knockaert surely is, Gallagher is deadwood..Hence the word, arguably.
yorkie1999 Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Bet he wouldn't have beaten three players in the run to win that penalty. Touche!
Guest ttfn Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Hence the word, arguably. As technically gifted as Gallagher is I'm not sure that argument would last too long.
Tom17LCFC Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Hence the word, arguably. There's absolutely no argument for it though...
ScouseFox Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Still scored the best goal I've ever seen. If people are going to abuse him he's obviously gonna take the piss out of them. He clearly did it to annoy the ****** and it clearly worked. Applause all round. He's still better than Marshall.
dog_4 Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Marshall's two footed scored 6 and 7 assists in a poor season. He's better then Gallagher by a country mile. He actually started the season quite well but seemed to go down hill a bit after getting called up by the england under 21's
Bettsj2 Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 So once again its open season if someone on Twitter wants to take the piss out of a player but they react and then the tears start to flow. Gally just isnt good enough but he doesnt deserve the stick he gets. I'm sorry but the snap back with the dollar signs seemed quite appropriate to the exchange. Reading more into it really shows up what a bunch of girls some fans can be. Players are overpaid. Who broke that story? Indykailla?
Deucalion Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 So someone butts in on a conversation between Gallagher and Logan on Twitter and insults Gallagher. Gallagher responds and many people get their knickers in a twist? I don't blame him to be honest.
Fox92 Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 I agree if you can't take banter then don't give it out, but putting £££ signs is a disgrace, but sadly sums up most footballers nowadays. Don't rate him anyway, can leave for all I care. Technically gifted, but doesn't tackle, poor in the air and only has that right foot. He isn't better than Marshall, who also defends better than Gallagher. If that's the attitude some of our players have, they can leave the club for me.
Father Ted Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 How can 'fans' defend Gallagher for his comments? He has DISRESPECTED OUR football club. Faggot
Finnegan Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Disrespecting the club, being so up himself it hurts and having kingfox level "banter" aside..... he's still a ****ing awful footballer.
LCFC FOX Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Are people actually sticking up for Gally? Everyone on Twitter is licking his arse, I don't know if its serious or you're just sad and want a retweet/Reply! My word he could be laughing at someones death and people would say its banter and we should know hes the joker of the group. Here for the money, get rid of the overpaid c*nt now
Aus Fox Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Someone gives you crap on twitter, you give it back the same as if someone gives you crap in a bar you would give it back. I think some people need to grow up and stop being so pathetic! It's like being in school. He's upset me, he said he's earning more money than me. So what? If you don't like it don't go on twitter simple!

Aus Fox Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 How can 'fans' defend Gallagher for his comments? He has DISRESPECTED OUR football club. Faggot Hypocritical post of the century? He has disrespect our football club? Then you call him that and disrespect him? Respect is a two way stream
dannythefox Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Gally can sit on his arse for all I care collecting his wages every week just proves he doesn't want to play football for anyone. To a pro football should be more important than a wage packet plus hes not getting any younger.

If you don't like it don't go on twitter simple! But he's supposed to be a 'professional'. It's a different situation to when I'm in a pub, or when I was at school. To be fair, there is a reason why he gets all this stick on social networking sites. But, if he wants to respond, he shouldn't included anything that shows off his £££ because he is an employee of the club. IMO anyway.

People seem to have a warped idea of what is right and wrong these days
Bert Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 There's absolutely no argument for it though... Well there is....
