Soar Fox Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 £850k for Henry. Holy shit. Pearson should look in blue square premier, get some absolute gems for a million pound these days...
Grewks Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 Why would Deeney not be in a leicester shirt next season? Don't watford have like less than 10 players signed on (excluding youth players)? They cannot sign anyone until the end of the window, can no longer exploit the loan market, and the FA is looking to ban transfers between clubs owned by the same owner. Vydra has declared he does not want to go back, etc... So surely Deeney's best interests would be to leave? - If i was NP and was lining up a replacement for beckford, he would be top of the list, and some physicality to our side.

By the same logic, Watford can't afford to sell any players 'cos they won't have enough left. Deeney is still in contract I believe, so it's Watford's decision, not his.
Grewks Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 You're looking at £4m minimum for Deeney IMO. Not if he wants out , which he may do if Watford's situation does not improve. By the same logic, Watford can't afford to sell any players 'cos they won't have enough left. Deeney is still in contract I believe, so it's Watford's decision, not his. Maybe like us they need to sell 3-4, to bring in 5-6
LCFC FOX Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 Tbh I agree with Bert, Deeney is Watfords stand out player who could play in the premier league. Surely if they have low number of players that would make his price even higher as they wouldn't want to sell anyone
Callabinho Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 I think Troy knows that it was their chance last season, putting himself in the shop window wouldn't be a bad idea, he wants a move,
Bert Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 Not if he wants out , which he may do if Watford's situation does not improve. Maybe like us they need to sell 3-4, to bring in 5-6 Hardly worth a "lol". They'll want to keep hold of him regardless, not in any real financial trouble and for the season he's had you'd do we'll to get him for much cheaper.

That makes Nuge worth.....what.......£3,200,000 I'd get rid and buy deeney
Harry - LCFC Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 So £4,000,000 for 20 goals........ That makes Nuge worth.....what.......£3,200,000 I'd get rid and buy deeney Deeney's only 24 though and shows a lot of potential IMO, has improved massively this season and could continue to do so. Will be one of the more expensive Championship players. To be honest this Deeney thing is probably a bit of a non-starter, me and someone else were just noting how he'd said a few nice things about us and that he might quite like us as a club. Just speculation on some fairly weak evidence.

As for Nugent their are more players that are like him so that brings down his value where as Deeney is unique and not many strong target men around

Soar Fox Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 Deeney won't go less for £4 million. Even if he did leave I wouldn't be surprised to see crystal palace or Hull making a move for him.
Lambert09 Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 There arent even many stupid twitter rumours flying about... I need something to get me through the summer
Jaspa Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 We'd have a pretty brutefull attack with Wood and Deeney up there Wether that would would work would come down to the compisition of this Leagues defense, luck and that special something. Doubt we'll grab Troy this summer but maybe in future eh, no solid Twitter stuff bout it either so . . . . .
The Horse's Mouth Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 If Deeney leaves he will not come to us. If anything that's a step backwards. He would want to attract the teams going up and potentially teams like Sunderland who struggle infront of goal.

Ur having a fvcking laff

Because he's on the verge of signing a new contract and has just bought a house in Watford. Deeney optimism, finished.

Bettsj2 Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 Shocked at the amount of support Deeney signing would get. Our moral high ground must have subsided into the sea since the Marlon King rumours.
yorkie1999 Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 I personally don't give a damn what a player does off the pitch,it's what they do on it is all I care about.
