Bettsj2 Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 But he's supposed to be a 'professional'. It's a different situation to when I'm in a pub, or when I was at school. To be fair, there is a reason why he gets all this stick on social networking sites. But, if he wants to respond, he shouldn't included anything that shows off his £££ because he is an employee of the club. IMO anyway. Define 'professional' He's not a doctor or lawyer. Most footballers are childish because they've never had to grow up. I find it amazing the moral high ground people try and take over this. The proportion of reaction to the amount of stick they get is amazingly low. If he'd tweeted with no provocation, 'I've got £££ for doing nothing. I dont care so f#cl off' i'd understand the reaction. But what actually happened makes the reaction a bit embarrassing.
Fox92 Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Why? Because of who he works for he shouldn't bite back? Well, yeah. He is supposed to be a professional. Footballers get stick all the time... It's double standards though because if a player like Suarez, Rooney or Cole were to 'bite', they'd get hammered.
LCFC FOX Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 NEWSFLASH: They are all here for the money, welcome to modern football. You're dreaming if you think any of them are here for any other reason yeah but they don't go round gloating that they will just take the money
Corky Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 So once again its open season if someone on Twitter wants to take the piss out of a player but they react and then the tears start to flow. Gally just isnt good enough but he doesnt deserve the stick he gets. I'm sorry but the snap back with the dollar signs seemed quite appropriate to the exchange. Reading more into it really shows up what a bunch of girls some fans can be. Players are overpaid. Who broke that story? Indykailla? Bang on. Gallagher can be a tit I'm sure, so can some fans. Let's hope he goes soon enough and the Twitter brigade find someone else to slag off and be offended by.
Bert Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Shoot...He's not got the flair of Knocky. But his passing is better, his free kicks are better, Gallagher retains the ball better. All technical attributes.
LCFC FOX Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 He's not got the flair of Knocky. But his passing is better, his free kicks are better, Gallagher retains the ball better. All technical attributes. Someone is on a wind up
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 NEWSFLASH: They are all here for the money, welcome to modern football. You're dreaming if you think any of them are here for any other reason I'd rather have players that fight for a place, not just be happy on the bench, as he obviously is. He's so big headed, says he doesn't have to prove nothing to anyone when infact, he does.
Deucalion Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 I think it's time for Gallagher to go, and if (when) he does, I will remember some good times with no animosity towards him. What I cannot stand it the attitude that it is fine for fans to have a go at a player but the player should just put up and take it. If people tried to get a rise out of Gallagher but instead ended up outraged by his comments then good. They got what they deserved.
Father Ted Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Hypocritical post of the century? He has disrespect our football club? Then you call him that and disrespect him? Respect is a two way stream Precisely, just how disrespect is a two way stream. Fvck Gallagher, his days are numbered and I for one will not accept him pulling on another Leicester shirt. 'Banter' ? Bollocks, he knew what he meant. As time goes on, the more I begin to see evidence of this Wellens/Gallagher disruptive force.
Callabinho Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 I can't view this thread at work because it contains the word Twat.

Out Foxed Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 gally is a willy puller and i'll be glad to see the back of him....what about those Twitter links?
AnotherShitSeason Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 I hope this ****ing big clearout starts soon. It's ruining my summer. Good old "Boots on fire" should be the first out the door.
Dan Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 didnt know your in charge of finances at Leicester! are you ever positive about anything ZZZ Go to a game with me in the ground and tell me how negative I am. Err Sven didn't write the contract. Neville did. Pick your fight with him. He'll be in the admin office down the KP if you are looking for him. Funny how all this silly money being thrown around on players wages seems to have stopped now Sven's gone though, is it not?
Callabinho Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 I actually think Troy Deeney would come here if we made a bid, he full on bums us. After the game against them he started his post match interview by showing his appreciation for us, and has since spent his time arse licking us when asked a 'favourite question'. E.G best away ground, and questions about Wes.
Dan Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 So someone butts in on a conversation between Gallagher and Logan on Twitter and insults Gallagher. Gallagher responds and many people get their knickers in a twist? I don't blame him to be honest. I've got nothing against Gallagher or any footballer replying, it's just the 'argument' he used. It wasn't banter, regardless of what he wants you to think.
Tom17LCFC Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 He's not got the flair of Knocky. But his passing is better, his free kicks are better, Gallagher retains the ball better. All technical attributes. Hugely debatable, I'm not even sure that his passing's better either.
Bert Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Hugely debatable, I'm not even sure that his passing's better either.Well that's your opinion isn't it? Mine is different. Nothing wrong with that.
Tom17LCFC Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Well that's your opinion isn't it? Mine is different. Nothing wrong with that. Never said there was fella!!
Dan Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 On that one, Knockaert wins hands down for me. I'll give Gallagher set pieces and long shots (although Knockaert's no mug at all) but other than that he's literally not close to Knockaert.
alanf0x Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Well that's your opinion isn't it? Mine is different. Nothing wrong with that. No transfer news bert?

Knockaert gives the ball away much more than Gally. But Knocky has flair what no-one else has in the team. Either way, it's just an opinion and everyone has a different view.
kingfox Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Oh suck my cock Gally, I love you Gally, I want to see you play for Leicester again Gally, you deserve to start. To those 14-17 year olds which they mostly are, please do twitter a favour and fook off. Much love Kingfox

But Knocky has flair what no-one else has in the team. Either way, it's just an opinion and everyone has a different view. I meant technically. I agree Gallagher is technically gifted but he's proof to me that technique alone isn't enough. Some of the things Knockaert does have been bettered by simply no one since I've been going down. He does give the ball away more but he tries more. The same way I always used to compare Wellens & King. Wellens would try more defence splitting passes whilst King would play safe.
