MPH Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 I personally don't give a damn what a player does off the pitch,it's what they do on it is all I care about. So you'd be ok if a player broke your sisters nose for spurning his advances just as long as he had a few good games?
GingerrrFox Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 I wonder if Watford would accept Beckford and some cash for Deeney
Strokes Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 So you'd be ok if a player broke your sisters nose for spurning his advances just as long as he had a few good games?Which sister?
tomtom Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 I personally don't give a damn what a player does off the pitch,it's what they do on it is all I care about. Well some of us actually have morals and as much as I love city, there's more important things in life than football
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 Only just a rumour so take with a pinch of salt, but an old Uni mate of mine is cousins' with Karl Henry so I asked him if he was going to join us. Been informed that Karl is in Leicester tomorrow to complete the deal.

Walshy5 Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 A mate of mine reckons stringer has tweeted that we're in talks with Nicky Bailey but i cant find anything. Has anyone else heard anything?
WhenYourSmilingLCFC Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 A mate of mine reckons stringer has tweeted that we're in talks with Nicky Bailey but i cant find anything. Has anyone else heard anything? something a few weeks ago on twitter, his mrs got an LCFC season ticket or something. Could be wrong. Someone else must have seen it.
Ozwin Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 Karl Henry would be a great signing. The sort of player everyone hates when he's not in your side. We don't have enough steel in our side, we're too lightweight.
Bettsj2 Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 something a few weeks ago on twitter, his mrs got an LCFC season ticket or something. Could be wrong. Someone else must have seen it. Yeah there a topic on it that the mods deleted as they said it was all bullshit.
yorkie1999 Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 Well some of us actually have morals and as much as I love city, there's more important things in life than footballso you'd turn down someone like George best or maradonna because of morality
MPH Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 so you'd turn down someone like George best or maradonna because of morality Absolutely. It would be highly immoral to dig someone up out of their grave and put them on a football pitch... and it would be equally immoral to give a 50 year old overweight coke-head ( allegedly) a professional contract!
johnny the fox Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 Henry is a dirty bastard, spends half the season suspended for miss timed lunges.. good signing.
MPH Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 Henry is a dirty bastard, spends half the season suspended for miss timed lunges.. good signing. Maybe the plan is he'll be suspended so often he wont have the game time to get tired and will last a whole season before getting burnout!
The Horse's Mouth Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 I am not deluded about my club but us a step backwards from Watford. Ur having a fvcking laff k u so rite
Grewks Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 Karl Henry would be a great signing. The sort of player everyone hates when he's not in your side. We don't have enough steel in our side, we're too lightweight. Yeah he may win the ball back a bit more, but his distribution is so poor it will just even itself out.
Grewks Posted 16 June 2013 Posted 16 June 2013 Oh....and why on earth are we not after Lee Tomlin? We need to improve our creativity from central midfield.... why is double figures in assists and goals not good enough?
dog_4 Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Keisuke Honda Japanese superstar, David Beckham of the far east and out of contract. Very unrealistic But this deal could fund itself and he's actually a very talented footballer. Make it Happen
Xen Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Keisuke Honda Japanese superstar, David Beckham of the far east and out of contract. Very unrealistic But this deal could fund itself and he's actually a very talented footballer. Make it Happen WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING? Never actually heard of him, but his stats on Wiki seem pretty decent... We're not exactly looking for an attacking midfielder though, are we (Although that's not to say we shouldn't get him in anyway...)?
Frank_mckenzie Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Honda is a cracking player, to far out of our league
Jon25747 Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING? Never actually heard of him, but his stats on Wiki seem pretty decent... We're not exactly looking for an attacking midfielder though, are we (Although that's not to say we shouldn't get him in anyway...)? He is also way out our league. He moved to CSKA for £6m and is probably worth more now than he was then.
Xen Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 He is also way out our league. He moved to CSKA for £6m and is probably worth more now than he was then. Fair enough. Though seems odd that they've let his contract run out if he's so good...
dog_4 Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 He's 26 - 27 and out of contract believe it or not. Get a big corporate sponsor to fund a contract. Offering free advertising around the ground, shirts and using there 7 or 8 duty free outlets in Thailand for free advertising. Lets start a campaign : ) Big names have happened before robert prosinecki at Portsmouth, Bellamy at Cardiff. and we desperately need more creative flair. Our teams currently too young and full of basic footballers.
