It is said that the larger one's font is the more trustworthy one's transfer rumour becomes.....

But yeah, Honda's deffo signing for us. Pearson knows his mother's milkman's cousin, he's always said he's wanted to work with such a close friend.

Went to a Fulham v Charlton cup game whilst in London working and Kermy had an absolute blinder. .. could of impressed enough for a bid

Apart from not really scoring enough goals, Kermorgant was a good target man and technically better than what we have now. In both our games v Charlton last year he got the better of Wes at their place and Keane at ours. One moment of madness does not make him a poor player. I remember the pre - season when Eriksson took over, he was brilliant in Sweden. A pity he didn't get a second chance. I just hope our current Frenchman doesn't get the same level of abuse.

He just wasn't decent enough for us.

He is a good player. We just aren't the club for him.

I don't think it's even that, he was doing alright considering it was his first season playing in this country, it's just that he got crucified for that penalty miss. He's improved the more he's played and I'm sure if he hadn't missed that penalty, he'd be improving with us. Nothing to do with us not being 'the right club' for him. He could just never come back after that.

One goal in 25-odd apps, he was not doing alright. He was crap.

Well if that's your opinion, that's your opinion.

Mine differs.

If that's 'doing alright' considering its your first season in a new country, then Knockaert is absolutely sensational and we should expect 40 goals and 70 assists from him next season.

If you judge players solely on their stats, then yes.

The best part of Kermorgant's game has never been his goals, it's his ability to hassle defenders, his aerial ability, his ability to create openings for his team mates. I'd like to see how many goals we'd have scored as a team if we'd had him in our side this season.

Steve Howard was a very important player for us a few seasons back, was it because he scored 30 goals a season? No, it was because of what he brought to the side.

as if we'd get suso

Why not? He's barely played any football and he's not proven. More than likely he would go abroad or the Championship than a Premier League team.

From his interview before the game where Charlton won here, I got the hint that he felt like an outsider from day one. Surprised me a lot actually - that squad seemed to get through the tough times through unity and teamwork, so it surprises me that Kermorgant was pretty much excluded. He was only given cameo performances and whilst he didn't look great, he was hardly bad either.

I stand by it was the wrong club at the wrong time. It's just one of them things - it didn't work out for him yet in my opinion he is a very capable player at this level. He has every attribute to be an asset in this league, so fair play to him really, I'll never forget that penalty miss but I don't hate the bloke at all.
