I think Spain will be aiming for more than 6 (and it shouldn't be a problem for them, especially considering how many chances Nigeria wasted) and it'd be an absolute miracle for Tahiti to score tonight But I'd love for Tahiti to score, even if it's Spain 30 - 1 Tahiti. The crowd will absolutely mental for Tahiti!

Got to remember that game was played for charity therefore meaning that Spain wouldn't have wanted to embarrass Haiti. As well as that there were wholesale changes all the way through the game and that always takes the wind out the sails of it. Anyway, I'll go 9-0 Spain.

They'll knock it about from the word go. That's their entire gameplan and it seems to work against every single side. Just knock it around, wait for a gap and bang, goal. Tahiti will leave gaps galore, it'll be a silly score. 13-0.

I'll be amazed if it's that much, admittidly I didn't seeTahiti's first match but they did only lose to New Zealand 2-0 in World Cup qualifying and that sort of score shouldn't mean you lose by 10 or more to any top sides.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 Depends how they setup, if they attempt a San Marino style 11 men behind the ball they might be able to keep the score down. Spain are excellent in possession but there approach to most games is low risk and they wont be too bothered about rushing and scoreing as many as they can, It'll be 7-0 at most. Ableit with Spain having about 80 - 90% possesion. If they come out and play like they did against Nigeria, especially with the suicide defending then it could feasible end up being 15-20. Nigeria were wasteful, lethargic and obviously illy prepared for the game and and should of easily had double figures and Spain will be much more clinical. Nigeria were Dog rough and won 6-1. Some of the goals they conceded would have worried most Sunday morning managers.

If I was involved with Tahiti the last thing I'd want is the opposition holding back. I would find that much more embarrassing than losing 30-0 or whatever. Nevertheless Spain will no doubt hold back a bit just to reduce physical impact etc. I'd be very surprised if it reaches double figures. I'll go 7-0.

Can't stand when teams hold back and sit on a lead. We know all too well from this season how important goal difference can be, so it baffles me when teams don't want to inflict a demolition, if they're able to do so.
