Swarles Barkley Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 COMMON SENSE. COMMON FVCKING SENSE YOU ABSOLUTE FVCKERS
Guest ttfn Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Clarke lol . Australia just as negative as England when it suits them after all.
Corky Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Tut tut, don't want to see time-wasting in cricket do we? Massive shame.
Aus Fox Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Disgraceful end to a great series, what ever happened to offering the light to the batsman. Clarke is a joke!
Swarles Barkley Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Go on then darren lehmann. Justify your cheating then you twà t. Fvcking hypocrite
I am Rod Hull Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 4-0 would have been harsh imo. Fantastic days play

leicsmac Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 What an utter farce. Full house crowd, 21 needed off 4 and they bring them off. Amazed there wasn't a riot. At least there may be some good come out of this as the laws regarding bad light MUST now be changed.
I am Rod Hull Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Go on then darren lehmann. Justify your cheating then you twà t. Fvcking hypocrite England would have done the same and have done in this series

Insane decision though.
Aus Fox Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Would they have come off still if the series was 2 each and England 8 down? Some common sense needs to come in at the end of a test match to get a result
Swarles Barkley Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 England would have done the same and have done in this series Yeah we did, but we didnt come out publicly to call a fellow player a cheat and humiliate him in australia
I am Rod Hull Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 Yeah we did, but we didnt come out publicly to call a fellow player a cheat and humiliate him in australia He did cheat and he deserves all he gets this winter
Corky Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 England would have done the same and have done in this series We probably would've done, but the Aussies have got on their high horse several times over walking, time wasting, subs, umpires looking for bad light that it's natural people will respond to these accusations and digs when it happens in their favour.
leicsmac Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 He did cheat and he deserves all he gets this winter Not walking is not a violation of the rules. Therefore it is not cheating. It's about as unethical as your average civil lawyer and he'll get stick for it in Aus, but it wasn't cheating.

Aus Fox Posted 25 August 2013 Posted 25 August 2013 But it aint cricket I don't remember seeing many Aussies walk, just because we were not stupid enough to use all our reviews on taking a guess. We're the Aussies didn't walk we reviewed it and they were given out. At least now they can get off their high horse and stop whinging. Overall in the series I think there were 4 really bad umpiring calls: Broad being out, Agar being stumped, Kawaja being given out when he hadn't hit it and Trott being given out when the hot spot wasn't working. So I think for all the whinging about umpires it ended up even. The Aussies whinge about they would have won in Manchester without rain well we would have won here, we slowed the game down at times to suit us they did the same. Only one team whinged and complained about it all series and one team had the audacity to call an opponent a cheat. At the end of the day 3-0 I had a tidy win on the series so happy with that.
theessexfox Posted 26 August 2013 Posted 26 August 2013 Absolutely ridiculous. As exciting an end as a Test Match gets, conditions were never 'dangerous' and they take them off. Shameful.
notnow john Posted 26 August 2013 Author Posted 26 August 2013 A few reflections of the series. We are not quite as good as we thought we were and the Aussies are not quite as bad as we hoped they'd be. My favourite commentating pair were Michael Holding and Andrew Strauss, just for the octave range between their voices. I kept expecting Strauss, in his slightly helium infected voice to say "I love you Mickey". I've probably seen too many Disney cartoons. My man of the series was Stuart Broad not only for his performances but for making them squeal like piggies!

RowlattsFox Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Not ashes I know but Australia are hitting a huge score in the 20/20. Finch hitting over 150 off 60 odd balls.
